This park has some awesome shows as well as encounters. We have done dolphin swims in the past so chose to do a Sea lion encounter and was so impressed with the treatment we and the animal received was far better then anything we ever expected. As for the shows we enjoyed them a lot more then the shows we have seen in the US. The animals are treated well it seems and with out the strict US laws they seems to have more fun. Be sure to visit the dolphins and watch as they throw seaweed at bypassers to try to get them to play. That was the funniest thing I have ever seen!!

So much fun!! Our dolphin guide Milo was nice and fun. So cool to get to see and touch the dolphins up close. The bird, dolphin and sea lion shows were so much fun! The employees in the gift shop and photo booth were super helpful figuring out how to pay with our phones since we forgot our cash. Definitely a must!!

We had a fantastic day here. Lots to do and see! The animal interactions are well worth the money as is the water slides and inflatable water toys. The animal shows are all really fun and educational! If you buy an animal interaction you get lunch, snorkelling, and transportation included!! Definitely worth it!

We did the Dolphin Swim and it was pretty amazing since you got up and personal as well as do a bit of stunts with the dolphins.But it does cost money to buy the photos and video.$$$. They have a promo till March 31, 2018. $199US for 2 adults. The park also has free lovebirds encounter where the birds just sit in your hands or head. It was one of my favourite exhibits. They also had a cool reef swim where you could snorkel and see fish up close.

Honestly had the best time at this excursion. My 2 year old daughter enjoyed seeing all the animal shows they had. Plus we got to interact with the dolphin, which the staff made you feel very secured and safe at enjoying the moment. Truthfully something you can enjoy with your loved ones, family, partner etc. The day we went, the weather was absolutely beautiful. No other way to put such a memorable experience. I would definitely go back here again!

Loved it all the animals are well trained and beautiful. The park itself is beautiful, and all the items are at a fair price. The only thing is the area outside of ocean world is a little rough but they community is up and coming so I expect big things in the future.

A must do if you are an animal and sea life enthusiast. All the shows from the birds, sea lions, sharks and dolphins were very entertaining and informative. I recommend the dolphin swim experience as the dolphins are definitely the highlight of the entire experience. Enjoy it with the family or as a way go get away and do something unforgettable.

I spent the day at the park last week, November, 2017. Had a wonderful time at the dolphin encounter. The entire park is clean, charming and well kept. Staff were very pleasant. Shows were short but nice. The lagoon pool was charming. Don’t go expecting SeaWorld but nice pleasant experience.

The park has a lot of things to see. They have dolphin shows, sea lion show, shark show. The also have a bird averary where you have birds land on you.

Nice water park. It was fairly easy to get in and out of. It was not crowded when I went but even then getti g into the shows was difficult. The seating was also very uncomfortable. I still enjoyed it though.

Very nice experience although very expensive, food included but for the price of all the services should be open buffet the whole day. dont try to take an extra picture from the park with lions or dolphins they are very expensive. the artificial beach inside it's very bad. the pool very deep and small. other than that the activities very spectacular

Animal shows are the best from this park. Here you can see Birds, Dolphins and Sea Lions do incredible tricks. Everything was very nice. The Triple Twister was very good. But as always, everything has its bad side. The Artificial Beach inside the park has the most salty water in the universe. The pool is very small. This park receive a lot people every day, and it's not fair to be in a pool full of people when they can build a bigger one. The food was delicious and drinks very expensive.

I went to Ocean World yesterday and did the Shark Encounter! Although it was a fun park I wish there was more to do and also was slightly disappointed in the pictures that I got with the shark. Most of them you couldn't even see the shark and there were no pictures of me swimming with them. Other than that the shows were fun and the lunch was great!!!

You better visit Puerto Plata and make a family stop here Staff was very nice and diligent, everything is well organized so you can enjoy every show in the program. Kids will love it a lot.

Tips:

1) Party of 5 get the picture package as a group (80-100 usd for 60+ pictures + video). Single picture cost 15 usd.

2) Food was really good and you can serve as much as you like.

3) If you're going to meet or swim with the Dolphins, get a couple of minutes earlier baby dolphins like to play throwing rocks, it was really fun.

We purchased the least expensive visit, and we had a blast. We were able to snorkel, swim in pools, swim in the bay, see really cool dolphin and river otter shows. The bird area was a great time too!

I love this place. It's an excellent place. You can do a lot of things like swimming with the dolphins, sea lion. You can also see the wonderful shows they have. The food it's good. It's a great place to go with friends or the family.

Hello,

This place is fantastic, you can enjoy so much.
Has a lot Animals Shows. You have time between presentations to dive and enjoy with all family members.

Tremendous support and security all time.
All pools and beaches are supervised using Lifeguards and Security members.

The restaurant has fast food and snacks.

All place is available to visit in wet wear.

There is different plans to stay half or full day on park. All hotel in the Puerto Plata area has local free transport to the park.

Really had a wonderful time here! Wish my ship had stayed longer in port. Spent quality time interacting with the dolphins, and the water is very clean. Loved the sea lions, and got my picture taken with one! Also really enjoyed the aviary with the lovebirds! Well worth the price

An awesome experience you won't find anywhere else. My wife and kids really enjoyed their session swimming and playing with the dolphins. The park is very well maintained and the animals all seem very well cared for. The only downside is the price - make sure you've looked into discounts and group deals before going.
