  If you bank with Scotiabank in Canada this is a great place to withdraw cash because you don't pay any service charges. However, you still need to let Scotiabank know you'll be traveling or they may decline your card. Note that the machine uses a $ but the amounts are in pesos.

  super unhöflich, halbe Stunde umsonst angestanden, um mit Pass und Kreditkarte mehr als die 10000 Dop vom Automaten zu bekommen, ohne Erfolg- angeblich ist das Gerät kaputt. Am Automaten zahlt man für jede Transaktion 200 DOP. Ärgerlich

  Tried to withdraw and the ATM kept showing the $ sign instead of pesos or DOP so I withdrew 200, and it ended up being 200 pesos instead! So I got charged a fee of 200 pesos for withdrawing 200 pesos! On the plus side, we withdrew 10000 pesos later (the one at janet's supermarket had a limit of 2000 when we tried earlier)
