My wife and I were blown away with how much thought goes into the safety and the entertainment of the kids. We had such a stress free stay at Nickelodeon Resort and we have a son that is allergic to almost everything!! The chef came out to our table for every meal to ask what he could make for our son. Customer service was excellent and the entire Resort so clean! We can’t wait to go back next year. We recommend this resort to any family.

We enjoyed our vacation. The hotel was clean and nice. The crowds were not overwhelming and the beach was awesome. Our son loved the private sliming.

Just came back from a visit, that included myself and my two kids (age 10 and 7). The food was subpar, and the water park/activities were really more geared towards younger kids. The facilities were newer, but each night we had some issue with the room. The staff were only so/so. We had trouble making reservations for the nicer restaurants - the “personal agent” was more interested in trying to sell us the hotel brand, than booking restaurant reservations. He booked us for a night we weren’t even going to be there, and then staff wouldn’t honor when we were supposed to be booked. The resort also really wasn’t that child friendly. Do yourself a favor, save the cash on the name recognition, and go elsewhere, where the food and service are better for the price.

Good for family vacation. Staff is friendly. Couple minor issues but worked out. Don't get scammed into the Platinum membership it's a timeshare scam and you will be sorry if you sign anything.

This place is designed and done nicely. They just need to scale it out now and enlarge some of the entertainment aspects. The water park is very small. They also need to have the characthers out more so the kids can see them. Kids normally get less than a 30 second photo shoot and that is all the interaction they get. All the events and activities are done on a small scale, not grand. I expected more top of the shelf from the Nickelodeon brand respectfully.
I do have a concern for worker safety and electrical design, but this is not America. Best to get reservations for dinner. The buffet at Sugar Cane is not a home run by any means. The staff is extremely kind, but service is lacking, as well the language barrier adds to that. They are all really good hearted people. I got ripped off at the store, they charged me double. The buffet at Sugar Cane is garbage. Maybe I am just used to better food, but after the second visit to eat there I was done! There are too many things here done on a bottom shelf budget.
No such thing as getting slimed, as it is just green colored water. Group water slime at water park 3 pm daily. If you want to get a private 3 second slime, it will cost you $80.00.
They have the makings of what could be a solid resort, one of the best. Only time will tell. There are many good reviews offering suggestions for improvement. Hopefully they are listening. Oh and the metal fold out couch beds got to. My 7 year old even complained about them.
I hope the parent corporation takes care of the hard working employees here. They deserve to share in some of the profits going down! I think with some improvement I can see giving this a 5 star.response / report this review -

I'd like to start by saying my wife and two children, ages 1.5 and 3, had six fun days and five nights here. Clean, new and more than enough activities both inside and obviously outside for the kids and adults. However front desk is lacking and runs on island time, meaning if you expect something to happen at the scheduled time they may not get back to you for another hour if at all. Arriving to our room neither room key worked so we were told to wait for someone to come fix it, thirty minutes later we called the front desk to be told someone would be there shortly, another thirty minutes we decided to go eat. After dinner we go to the front desk, get two new cards and magically the door is working. Upon checking out we needed our bags to be picked up at 12, literally spoke to front desk in person at 10 that day, no one shows up by 1215 so we call the front desk, "someone will be right there" by 1245 I'm walking our luggage to the front desk so we don't miss our car to the airport at 1. Finally the day we fly out, back to JFK, a storm delays us from 4pm to 10am the next day. Not being able to sleep at the airport, we tried calling Nickelodeon to see if they had any rooms we could rent for the night until our flight the next morning, essentially 9pm-7am so we could get to the airport in time. After being hung up on three times while being connected to reservations we finally spoke to someone to be told it would be $1200 USD for the night. Mind you we just spent almost 3x that for the week and needed the room for 10hrs. I was amazed they not only had the nerve to charge that but that they wouldn't come down at all on the price of a room they already had, wasn't going to rented that night and could have been easily cleaned for any reservation the following day. Again $1200 for 10hrs overnight in which we would have had the absolute minimal access to anything all inclusive which is partially why this resort is more expensive than non inclusive ones. As far as the resort itself, the food, activities and rooms are great but will gladly never give them another dime and do Disney from here on out after that insane amount they tried charging.

Visually pretty but they do not take precautions to keep children or adults with food allergies safe. My son could have died! I had to rush him by ambulance to the E.R. because of the hotel's negligence. He ate a piece of cake- like dessert that was filled with Nutella! He has severe NUT allergies. There were signs indicating the types of foods around the entire buffet area BUT NO sign by that dessert area. Please be careful if you go here and someone in your group has food allergies!! The hotel did not feel they did anything wrong by NOT posting food ingredient sign by the dessert area. My son was admitted to the E.R. overnight. Had to pay the hospital $3000.00 U.S. and local cab back to the hotel $60 U.S. Thank God my son was treated and I had his EPIPEN but the Hotel offered no monetary compensation for all the extra money we had to spend and the ordeal my family suffered.

Everything was very nice but take care with the concierges, they tell family that the activities are included and then they make you sign and then in checkout, you would be surprised. Not everything is included, they give you alcohol in the gazebos so you can sign their policies of cancellation, after discussing with the reception, the concierges and the managers, they make you pay. Customers don't have the reason in Punta Cana Nickelodeon. For 150 dollars, you lost customers forever after spending 4000+ usd. Unbelievable!! Very bad customer service at the end. :(

Absolutely amazing experience. The food choices were top of the line, and we loved the room. So many amenities. The staff were friendly and very professional. The atmosphere made it so easy to relax. The grounds were very well kept and great attention to detail.

I wouldn't even give a 1-star to this resort if the system allow 0 star or a negative star. Worst experience ever trying to book a room! I booked a room which is "on quest" on their website and it was clearly indicated the room will be confirmed or declined betwee 24-48 hours! Calling them on the end of the second day trying to get an answer before trying to book a air flight which the price has already gone up few hundreds within the two days. Customer service told me they will pass this request to the inventory dept, and I should be getting an answer within 24 hours. I'm like saying to myself what has being done for the past two days regarding to this reservation ?!?! Nothing! On the night of the third day, which is 72 hours passed my reservation and 24 hours after they told me they will check with inventory dept, I called them again and I was told the same thing, they will pass this booking to inventory and get back to me within 24 hrs. I finally asked them what was being done for the last three days! I'm wasting my 3 days waiting for an answer that no ones trying to work out! And the flight price is almost double, asking to speak to a manger or supervisor, no one is available! Ridiculous! I ended up cancel the reservation and book somewhere else!! This is totally unacceptable!

This is why you go, but note only kids 12 and under can go on all. There is only 1 slide adult parents can go on. Go to the other side of the resort for adult fun and ceviche at the swim up bar area fresco

It is so cool and love the food and bedding plus the pool right in back of the balcony so we can just go swimming and great water park but it is a long way to get there because I live in ok

Stayed here with my wife. The resort is doing very well for the short period they have been opened.
However they are not quite up to the Karisma standard we been spoiled by in mexico.
The challenge here is getting great service. It's hit or miss. It's rather perfect or just simply terrible. Nothing in between. The best service for us was at K23 & private romantic beach dinner.
The rooms are nice and well stocked. Always had fresh water and fridge stocked. We took advantage of our butler service and reserve a cabana in the beach. This was great as we did not have to wake up early to enjoy a beach bed.
I liked the fact that I had access to sensatori restaurants with was adults only. Allowed for us to break away from couples with kids.
It's a great resort and they had some fun foam parties for kids and what not. But once again for those that been to other Karisma resorts it's not up to par to their service and standards.
Honest feedback it's more of a 4 star resort and food wise the best was as k23 and sugarcane.response / report this review -

Great time. Excellent service. Activities were endless. Food was great! Grounds beautiful. Kids checked in to the water park and was like bye see you later. Dinner on the beach was truly great! Beach party was fun! Kids loved it. Adults loved it! We had a great time.we didn't take any kids either. Lol
