Beautiful beach. Would highly recommend you do a full day tour of all the beaches in Samana. This one is usually part of those tours. Keep in mind that the chairs are NOT free. Some tour operators include free chairs, so shop around.

You have to try piña colada here. It's great that drink in a real pineapple but either a glass or cup.

One of the more accessible beaches in Las Galeras, La Playita is a postcard-worthy beach with beautiful water and nice swimming. There are a few places to eat at the entrance to the beach, and you can easily catch a boat tour to RincĂ³n, FrontĂ³n, or elsewhere on the peninsula. If you are staying in Las Galeras but don't want to make a trek out to the farther away attractions, head to La Playita.

Quite nice beach. Can't really say it's anyhow outstanding though. Dificuilt access to sea from a left side of beach due to lots of sharp stones and seaweed after few meteres in water. Food was good but not that much different then in other restaurants in DR. Fish with coconut soup was interesting and I would suggest to try it over a grilled fish chops.

Beautiful little local beach with a lot of charm and beautiful waters. The beach has a couple small/local seafood restaurants and bars and one well established main restaurant and bar by where you park.

La Playita might be one of the best beaches in the Dominican Republic with its perfect mixture of seclusion and beauty along with its far corners where one who wishes can avoid high concentrations of other tourists. The photos are from La Playita beach in the water.
