Several issues especially with housekeeping & stealing money from our safe. Beware of visiting. They did refund our money. Will not go back.

We spend a great family vacation in August at Now Onyx. Cozy and modern , very well maintained place. Neat and clean. Delicious food and nice service. Entertaining for kids and adults. Ice cream shop, snack bar, gift boutique and spa. Wi-Fi.

Everyone was so nice. The beds were comfy and the food was pretty good. The pools were kept clean. It's just beautiful here. Would definitely come back!

Service is great if you speak Spanish. Food was not good. Prepare to get sick. No one understands anything you say. To be a brand new hotel..it sucks. Tv's go to weak or no signal while watching. The shower leaks to the bed. No ventilation in the bathroom. Bugs..many, many bugs.fliesflies flies plenty of bottled water to drink, don't need to bring water. Recommend the dune buggy adventure. Check out ALL hotels before making a decision

Pros

-          Wifi everywhere (beach, pools, rooms, restaurants, etc.)

-          Short walk to everything

-          Plenty of chairs and towels available at the beach or the pool

-          No reservations for restaurants

-          Free access to the adults only pools and restaurants at Breathless

-          24 free room service for everyone

-          Nice larger balconies with the rooms had whirlpool tubs on them

-          Food was excellent

Cons

-          Our rooms were cold enough with the A/C, but we found it damp (they offered to move us to a different room, but we didn’t bother)

-          Pools were cooler than I expected

-          House wine was terrible, you have to pay for good wine
