This is a very good cinema here in Santo Domingo. It's the only one screening independent films on a daily basis (they don't show your regular hollywood flicks there, for that you'll have to visit another place).It's a cinema cafe, meaning there's an area were you can sit and order coffe, wine (cup, 1/2 bottle and whole bottle) beer (Stella Artois and Presidente) and grab a few bites. It doesn't have a selection as big as a restaurant (specially on wines), but they do serve sushi, carpaccio, and some other elaborated dishes, and it's not expensive at all. The cinema per se is small, and so are the screening rooms. Nonetheless, the chairs are big and really comfortable, and are very well positioned (you don't see anybody's head), the sound is of excellent quality and the rooms are very clean. I enyoyed my time there and I recommend it.
