They notice the price on the website is RD$400pesos but when I went the ticket box it was RD$450. They should change the information on the website. The bus is really calm and cool. The man who is the staff in the bus he didn't have a manner. He was not in polite for me because I am a Asian. I told him about my hotel and he said ok ok but he left me really far away from the hotel just only told me there was taxi zone. But my hotel is near to the other stop not the ultimo!!!!

Easy quick getting tickets as long as you show up early. We were her ean hour early and only a few people where waiting. We got tickets instantly. In time to grab a coffee across the street. Loading was efficient, one bag per person under the bus. The bags get a card and you get the matching card to pick up your bags. Left about five minutes after 09:00. Basically right on time.

Convinient way to get to Bavaro. 400 pesos one way (about US$8). From Santo Domingo it takes about 2hrs 30min to get to Punta Cana airport and another 15min to the first resort (Barcelo Bavaro Palace). Bus is kind of old and not much leg room. There is a toilet onboard and free WiFi. I always recommend getting on the bus on the first stop (main one). One needs to be there one hour before departure in order to buy tickets

Super convenient for getting from Punta Cana to the capital of Dominic Republic. Comfortable chairs, and people hopped on providing snacks for a few dollars. Though my bus had a few roaches that I saw

Great transfer service. It has realy high level of service and its very comfortable and reliable. Its really great that bus driver can pick you off not only on stations but much closer to your final destination point which lays on the road. 4 stars only for a reason that you can't book a trip via internet.

Always a good experience. Best way Santo Domingo - Punta Cana and back. The 7am sells very quickly, lines are made from 5:30am. For other times, 1 hour early to buy ticket is ok. Clean buses with a/c and drivers ride cautiously. Stops are made, but much less than other options.

Now its renovated with a lot of place to sit. Busses are almost always full so buy tickets in the morning (NO online website) and come back later.

They have no control on selling the tickets for the first bus, you make the line and they sell tickets to people who just arrive even if the crowd is telling them, they don't sell tickets in advance, no reservations, disrespectful cashier. The only good thing is the busses are good and on time, drivers are nice.

Fast bus from Santo Domingo to Punta Cana Airport. It has A/C and Wi-Fi. Clean and cheap. Come one hour before your ride because they sell out quickly.

We are 2 female travellers from Poland.
We travelled from Santo Domingo to Punta Cana on December 31st.
We purchased our tickets for Bavaro Express in Santo Domingo to travel to Riu Complex Punta Cana on December 31st.
Please see the photos below.
The bus conductor assured us that the bus is going all the way back to Riu.
Unfortunately, when we got to Friusa he told us to get off and refused to go any further.
Thus he dropped two female tourists in the middle of an unknown city in the dark in a foreign country with no explanation and no help.
We were afraid that he just left us somewhere dangerous.
We paid to go to Riu, not just to anywhere that the driver wanted to go to.
That's very unprofessional.
This is a complaint against the driver and the conductor who drove the 3pm Bavaro Express on December 31st 2016.
That sort of behaviour does not leave Dominican Republic as a country in a good light at all. Shameful. Disgraceful.

It's a little tricky to come back to the city, I recommend going to the bus stop instead of waiting for a seat on a random location.
