Good central location, nice breakfast with lots of variety, and comfortable, clean rooms. Hotel Christian IV was the best lodging on my vacation! I would definitely stay again next time I'm in Copenhagen.
The hotel was very comfortable and well-maintained. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and fluent in English. The room was small by USA standards, but locals told this was typical of Danish hotels. Total space including bathroom was about 25 square meters or about 200 square feet. Wifi is not encrypted.
Nice, small but not great hotel. It’s real strength is location. It’s very close to the Kings Gardens and it’s adjacent castle. and the Danish National Museum. It’s also close to the Danish Design Museum. You can do them all in a long Wednesday when they are open late. One block up is a terrific bar and restaurant street. The hotel is a touch pricey, but again, that location!
Nice hotel in a wonderful location. Good breakfast, free tea during the day.
Very nice place to stay! Rooms were accommodating for our party of three, and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Would recommend to any friends going to visit Copenhagen! Would stay again.
Basic hotel. It has what you need. Good location very central. Breakfast suits your needs. In general nothing fancy.
It's July and the room was warm (no AC). Employees were great. Helped with everything. Breakfast each morning was the best to be expected. Beds very confortable Good location with bike rentals, if you wanted. No problem recommending this hotel to anyone.
Fantastic location, excellent friendly staff and owner. Great breakfast and very comfortable bed.
Had a nice stay. The room and breakfast are basic, but good value. You can always enjoy the breakfast place as lounge with a street view. I will be back.
Very friendly staff. The room was very clean and well sized. Free coffee and tea throughout the day.
Great location. Good standard hotel quality. Very good breakfast.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast, tea with coffee and pastries and fruit available all day. Near David Museum, in city center, quiet neighborhood of businesses and condos. Good food nearby, just ask Pia for suggestions. Near bus 26, about a half mile from both East and North train stations. Easy access to tourist sites but still off the beaten path. Hint:. BUY THE COPENHAGEN CARD for access to bus, train, metro, admissions to most sites; then get away from Copenhagen at least one day maybe the Viking museum.
I've been twice due to business travel to Copenhagen, and it's located in the city centre, friendly staff, big rooms and great breakfast service. They even have coffee, tea and cookies out-of-breakfast time if you need to relax or work in a relaxed environment. Very nice.
