  Apart from monthly subscription payment which I think should be less that the current amount, I had a good experience finding a house for us.

  This service is a real scam. You paid your hard-earned money to find get almost no answer at all, except for the automatic reply: "It has been rented out." Big disgrace.

  Just not worth it. When you enter first time it seems that there are a lot of appartments available, but most of the owners are never answering (you receive this automatic message saying the flat is already rented, or they've decided to move on with another candidate without never even getting a real answer from a human being). Also, I went to see an agency flat that has nothing to do with the one in the add (not the price, not the pictures). Told Boligportal about the issue, they told me they will take care, add stills there with same pics, same conditions. Just a waste of money and time.

  I would like to share my experience and give some advices:
  
  1. Activate “Search agents” based on search criteria ( category like house/apartment etc.) price, amount of rooms, desirable city/town). It can be few search agents for different cities.
  
  2. Allow all notifications from site and from search agents too. Subscribe to get notifications on email also. Its very important to be among the first one who will text to the landlord. In the first days they can get over 50 messages from future tenants.
  
  3. Create general first message that you can send ASAP after you got notifications from the website about new accommodation (a little about yourself). You have bigger chance to have response if you text in DANISH language, than in English. Use google translate, after all :)
  
  P.S. We are a family of expats. We became a paying member of BoligPortal for 2 months (450 kr). But we have found apartment after 2 weeks of active searching. Don’t forget to unsubscribe after you no longer use this service.
  
  P.P.S. Not all your messages will be answered, there are too many people and too less accommodations. Its feature of the real estate market in Denmark, there is nothing wrong with you or BoligPortal website :)

  Super portal, kan kun være tilfreds. Den sidste manglende stjerne, skyldes jeg savner mere brugervenlighed og markedsføringsmuligheder som udlejer.

  Pas på de snyder! Betalte 29,00kr for 4 ønskede dage, hvorefter de hæver 298,00kr. på trods af at mit abonnement er afmeldt og kontoen ikke er i brug.

  Min erfaring med Boligportalen: Mange inaktive boliger, dyrt (300 Kr./måneden) og I har fuldstændig ødelagt DBA med opslag, som linker til jeres side! Hvis man skal finde en bolig på en af Danmarks mange boligportaler, så må man betale i dyre domme for sider, som linker til hinanden og alle er blevet enige om, at holde prisen oppe (Kartel?). Der er ingen sikkerhed, jeg fik næsten snydt min depositum fra mig af en falsk udlejer. Men for at være fair, så er Boligportalens "konkurrenter" ikke et hak bedre
