This hostel will satisfy the basic needs for a stay near Copenhagen: it is built in what once was a military base of the Danish army. The rooms actually still look like some sort of barracks. The hostel provides a laundry service. The surrounding area is very quiet (or depressing, depending on your habits), and, although there is a bus station just outside the base, you get the feel of being quite far away from the city. Getting to the city center will take you 20 to 30 minutes. This is why this hostel might not be the best option of you want to visit Copenhagen. But still, the price is ok for the services provided.

I contacted the hostel in advance for a quote on a longer stay. Quick response with a good price. The rooms are basic and good, the place is very clean. I chose the shared bathroom and toilet option, which is fine. The common room and kitchen are very functional and pleasant. The area is quiet, so if you need a place to rest this is good. Shops are not very close, but can be reached, there is a Lidl and a Netto ~1 km away.
