  They have basically everything you need for handcraft work. Staff is quite helpful. Only in the painting section there never is anyone I ask.

  Probably the nicest Idee in all of Germany, and I have been to a lot of them. Lovely curated "studio" on the ground floor with hand-picked items you won't find anywhere else. The basement level has everything, but the highlight is the extensive fabric collection, including pieces from top European designers (Oleg Cassini, Missoni, etc). Walls of yarn, buttons and crafting materials for jewelry makers, wood workers, weavers and dreamers. Creative minds will love this shop, and it's selection really puts it ahead of the rest. Be sure to check out the discount yarns and fabrics if you are looking for a bargain, some great steals to be had as well.

  I have no artistic capabilities whatsoever, however I still managed to find myself in this shop for well over an hour. They have everything arts and crafts related from wedding cake toppers to an entire knitting section. I'd highly recommend visiting if even just to browse.
