The staff that I saw was polite, but I think they need more. Durimg my three nights, stay room service never came to my room. Even with the card placed outside. The carpet in the hall of lvl.0 clearly has not seen a vacuum in some time, with visible dirt and leaves. Lvl. 6 had a large stain that looked suspiciously like someone vomited by the door. There were a dozen or so smaller stains, and again no obvious vacuuming. Shaggy carpet is not a great carpet for a hotel, clean or otherwise.

The Ballade room I had was super quiet and spacious, and on the whole, I spent a pleasant week. The area is A1 for transport and local atmosphere, and I would stay again. The bathroom was good, and it had been cleaned properly. Furniture, unfortunately though, is not hotel quality. More like Ikea: it is either flimsy, inappropriate and/or not practical. The bed and linen, however, were good. Unfortunately again, general cleaning needs a lot of attention, though housekeeping did attempt to remedy the situation after I asked after I had just arrived. Note to staff: feather dusters don't dust. They just move dust around. Unfortunately, I still had to buy cleaning materials to clean surfaces of dust and grime .These comments are meant to be constructive and still should not deter anyone from staying here, unless you are particularly exacting. I didn't use the cafe. WIFI slowed up considerably at night to a point where I couldn't use it, and it was not secure. The password system is basic to say the least.
PS: Cleaning staff have a really tough job in hotels, so I still send my best wishes to them as I appreciate the conditions they face. Thanks to all staff at the hotel.

Great location for Charlottenburg and close to a station to access the rest of Berlin. Clean and spacious apartment with friendly helpful staff

Just checked in few hours ago. The standard of the hotel rooms is very bad, the presentation online of the hotel rooms must have been photoshopped. A really odd smell in the whole apartment. Maintenance can be improved.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. It was conveniently located, extremely spacious, with all the amenities we're looking for.
The area is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, yet very conveniently located by several U and the zooligischer garten S stations as well as many bus stops.
Overall a complete steal for the price, would highly recommend.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times this year. We stayed at the apartments and the comfort rooms, and they both are very good. Clearn rooms, nice people working there, service minded and always helpful.
There is no air condition in the rooms, and that might be a problem during the warmest days of summer, but otherewise everything is perfect here.

Almost everything was wonderful. I like the hotel very much and have been there four times and would like to come back again. But there was one thing that still makes me upset. I was given a shoebox size room after prepaying many months before for a large room which is the whole reason I came to Berlin and your hotel. I was told it was not possible to give me the room I had paid for. I understand that mistakes happen but when I asked to speak with the hotel manager I was told he was not available. I asked to speak with the manager many times over the next two days and each time I was told he was not available. The staff were always accommodating but the manager never contacted me. I find this to be unacceptable when a guest who is not given the room he has prepaid is ignored by the manager. I find this very unprofessional of management.
