  The thing I found very good about is that some animals they have let free to move in the park. Children can touch them and feed them also.

  Perfect for families. Kids will enjoy feeding animals and run around the park. Dress properly, at some points it could be challenging. They also have good food, but if you want you can bring your own picnic basket or barbeque stuff. It is a very large park.

  Great day out for the family with lots of opportunities for feeding of animals as well as a large variety of animals to see. The park is really spacious in terms of layout (lots of walking) and there are some steep and off road areas as well so to be aware of. The viewing tower gives some great sights out over the park and surrounding areas. Children's play park area is really equipped as well which was a great way to end the day off.
  
  Some things to keep in mind however; some of the areas are a bit rough and steep with a stroller / buggy but are marked on the map. The speed of service at the kiosks was rather slow but there are lots of picnic areas available to bring in your things.

  The "Flugschau" (Bird Flight Show) was really cool! There was some action, some information and a lot to laugh, the presenter was hilarious! Really can recommend it. However it is just German. ;)

  We absolutely love the Wildpark Schwarze Berge! In fact, it's the first place we go to when we arrive in Hamburg. The animals are extremely well taken care of and it's spectacular watching them in the large open enclosures that truly mimics their natural environment. Of course, being greeted by the free range pot belly pigs is our favorite!

  Great place to spend hours with children, also you can eat there, there is a playground, and of course a lot of different animals are here.

  it was awesome, went through cycling, climbing the uphills, there we find this beautiful zoo, i liked mostly the hot beverages here :P

  Awesome, take your kids there! They will love it.
  
  Don't forget, big area, you need to walk a bit.
  Many different kind of animals. Decent prizing.
