Very nice experience. They have vacation apartments right in the historic town of Lueneburg as well as in the ever so quiet and out of the way Gluesingen nearby.
If you stay in Lueneburg you can walk to the historic downtown in minutes. If you want to cook your own food their is a grocery store no more than 200 feet from there.
If you decide to stay in the small village of Gluesingen you can relax on the deck while gazing at the forest or go for extended walks in said forest.
If the time is right you can pick baskets full of edible mushrooms!
