  One of the few cologne coffee roasters in the city with a very good selection of beans and a awesome taste. This place has inside and outside seating. Always worth a visit for a quick coffee or buscuit/cake.
  
  Try the Ehrenfeld Espresso.

  I expected my coffee stronger, considering I got a flat white. It was ok, a bit too soft (sort of milky). The milk froth was really dense and good, but the coffee itself was a bit disappointing. I still might give it another chance, though.

  Superb coffee. I buy my espresso beans here. They roast themselves. The Cafe has a very unique style which was even awarded.

  My visit to Van Dyck, one of the major coffee bean suppliers in Köln, is a journey with interesting discoveries.
  
  This roaster is well-hidden in normal-German-street-looking neighbourhood Enrenfeld with a few creative spots around. The old shop window was kept while its long and thin interior space is uniquely featuring its past life: a barbers shop. It's basically like a time travel experience back to 50s.
  
  Their coffee is comparably darker roasted than other coffee capitals. I found the same taste in Düsseldorf. It's very good for making a punchy espresso, Americano or flatwhite. Their staff are very friendly, sometimes even offer to test before buying a bag of beans.
  
  I appreciate their traditional Central European approach of serving coffee: with a small block of sweet, such as cake. I also like their packaging a lot, simple and old-fashioned but well represents the physical experience a lot. I go there every time when I visit Köln.

  Local coffee roasters that sell their beans.
  Also preparing great coffee to drink in or take away.
  Seating is limited to around 10 places, but it's lot the kind of coffee shop to linger in.
  Great choice if you want a quick, but quality coffee near the station.

  I really guess that I have to be convinced by the previous Reviewers whom no doubt real coffee drinkers and experts (plus the IMAGE this place has) eventhough the Latte Macchiatto I got that noon didnt taste as good as I somewehre else got. Most probably bec I dont have any ideas about gourmet Coffee and stuffs as I hardly drink one. We ordered a Hot Choc as well and our lil boy said it was good.
  
  I love the interior of this charming Cafe and adore their sandwisches and other sweet temptations (ie. Törtchen Törtchen). Great service as well.
  
  They also offer Coffee To Go and packed roasted Coffee (guess in 6 sorts).
