Extremely rude staff ,I would never come to this restaurant ever again they ignored our request and I would never suggest this coffee shop to any of my friends or colleagues nice location very bad and rude staff. I wish the owner takes action before this place becomes empty of customers thank you

Staff are very rude, no customer service , poorly trained and lack Guidance for tourists and non German speakers. We ended up leaving the restaurant without ordering due to lateness in attending our table

We ordered a coffee and were charged 6 euros for it (because they assumed each of us wanted their own coffee pot???)!!! The place is very expensive, the product is nothing special and the staff is very rude. I’d suggest taking a look at the very nice building and decoration and leaving. Judging by the rest of the comments i have read here, we have not been the only ones ‘enjoying’ their awful service. If I were the manager to this place, I would think about the reviews left here. NEVER AGAIN

Nice place, good food. "Business breakfast" was tasty and very complete. The staff may appear a bit unfriendly.

Well not what I expected, the golden name board is the only impressive thing. To be honest, I sat down at many eateries in Germany and this one in Cologne is OVERPRICED, rude Waitresses dresses in pink overcoats who's expressions reflect annoyance! The only good thing about this establishment is that is opposite a very Impressive and Historical Landmark! Regards! Bx

Absolutely delicious cakes and pies. The coffee is great too, but served in very small portions. If you want to go full out for dessert, this is the place!

Amazing cakes and chocolate truffles! Unfortunately all 3 waitresses we had contact with were quite rude. Nevertheless, this is a good place for coffee & cake and it offers a nice insight into German traditions

Walked in here this morning to escape the rain. My wife went to the bathroom, so when the server arrived, we weren't ready to order. She was visibly annoyed with me. When my wife came back, it didn't take long for the server to return but while the service was prompt, I began to wish the server had never shown up at all.

A pot of tea is over 6€, so we decided to share. The server replied coldly: it only comes with one cup. Can we have another? No! There's a 3€ cup of black tea, so I asked if we could order that as green tea. Another cold "no".

We left. Cold, unfriendly service and high prices. We went instead to Funk Haus around the corner (30 seconds away) and were greeted by a procession of friendly staff, who provided tea at half the price, with free chocolates.

Don't waste your time with Café Reichard.
