One of the 2 possible stops on your boat trip in Koenigsee, though I preferred the stop at Obersee (Salet) instead, and would recommend you head there first, before stopping here on your way back. Gets very windy in this part of the lake too.

The Church's colors contrast beautifully with the lake's scenery. Magnificent.

This church is completely surrounded by greenery and mountains, so the white walls and red dome stand apart when you approach the church from the ship. Electric boats take you to this small beautiful church passing through the huge Königssee.
There are a few hiking trails around this place, the smallest round trip starting from 30 minutes and the longest being 5hrs.
There's a beer garden behind the church for ppl who'd like to be relaxed.response / report this review -

Definitely worth a visit! 2 mind walk to a cozy beer garden or you can take a 30 mind walk around also ending up in the beer garden but going along the lake and through the woods before.

The boat ride out is beautiful, and the church is in a very remote location, i.e. quiet.
