The cleanliness of our room (room nr. 311) wasn't good at all. We found some hair on the bed and in the bathroom. The bed was worn out so i had to sleep in a little dig on the mattress. We also had some mysterious stains on the furniture. Not very delicious.
The personal was kind and the location is in the middle of the city. A bad price-performance ratio because we payed 140 Euro for 2 night. Never again. We will find a better hotel.response / report this review -

The hotel is required for renovation. Rooms are pretty dirty - dust is on furniture, there was a lot of long black hair in the bathroom. The main problem is the smell of tobacco in the nonsmoking room.

This is a grubby little hotel that is between the Altstad and the main rail station. The rooms were cramped as if to squeeze in as many rooms as possible. Clearly there has not been any maintenance in many years, carpets are worn and stained, furniture is scratched and chipped. I wondered if the bed would collapse when I saw that one leg was bent over. The bathroom in the same condition. The tiny lift is very old fashioned and I hope it's been been inspected in the past few decades.
Surprisingly the breakfast was not of the same low quality, it was satisfactory.
This hotel adequate when you are in the same situation as me, needing to book at short notice and are only going to stay one night.response / report this review -

The hotel is cheap and nicely decorated, with quite decent breakfast. However, the room doesn't look very clean: the carpet was full of stains; moreover, sound insulation is very poor. I could crearly hear the neighboring guests speaking. It's ok for short stays.

I booked this hotel for 1 night with my wife. It is conveniently located in the heart of the city, within walking distance to the old city, as well as the modern part, close to a subway station too.
The room are reasonably sized, beds comfortable, breakfast pretty good.
Staff are friendly and always willing to offer their help.
Acoustic isolation between rooms need improvement, as one can literally hear everything that's happening in the rooms next doorresponse / report this review -

We freeze during the night. Heating system didn't work. Yes you read correct heating system didn't work in the middle of the winter. No air condition either.
Location is good, breakfast is adequate, personnel is ok.
Rooms are clean but out of age. They seems like before WWII.
You can try just for a few more across the street.response / report this review -
