Large comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Bar is surprisingly cosy for a hotel. Very good beds and excellent shower (couldn't find a shower cap though). Would recommend for multi-day stays due to the spacious room with ample seating and a generously sized desk. Breakfast very good.

Great hotel. Very kind and considerate staff. Very knowledgable of the area, and also arranged for some little gifts for my wife’s birthday.
Only criticism I would give, is the rooms are a little dated, though really modern bathrooms.
Good choice of wine to purchase, too.

We're staying in an apartment type room and it's very large! Very tall ceilings, kitchenette, king sized bed, lots of seating and a sofa bed that we haven't even touched. The apartments have a separate entrance from the rest of the hotel but there's a roundabout way to access it from the hotel. The location is great - 2 blocks from Checkpoint Charlie and many other sites within walking distance. There are no irons available except for in the"iron room" and we didn't have breakfast so I don't know about the food here.

The Mercure is a lovely hotel. From arrival you're met with a smile. The rooms are large and clean for me, just missing an iron which you have to go into a room on the 6th floor to use. The food here, whilst advertised as snacks, was delicious. A real surprise. I would stay here again.

The rooms are huge, location is fab. Price is very reasonable and the staff are lovely. I can't stress enough how big our room is! It's like an apartment!

The location of the hotel, though not central enough, is ideal for visiting Berlin, either on foot or by public transportation. The family suite with a balcony facing the garden was really spacious and comfortable. Free Wifi(a new policy)!Breakfast buffet was good but expensive. Convenient and safe parking garage.
