Great place to stay! The staff is excellent, the rooms are nice and the grounds are beautiful! The food was good as well. We would definitely stay here again if back in Germany. I would highly recommend this lovely, peaceful retreat.

We came to Kloster Holzen to celebrate my friend's wedding. What an absolutely beautiful location. The setting is just amazing. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are of very high standard. We shared a family room with our 2 young boys and the layout with the separating door works really well. The rooms are light and airy and lovingly decorated.
The food at the wedding reception as well as the breakfast buffet in the morning was very tasty.

Wonderful location in the middle of the country side. Beautiful historic buildings. Bedrooms have been updated with comfortable accommodations. Breakfast was very good.

My wife and I loved staying at Kloster Holzen. Great restaurant, rooms that had modern conveniences yet were still faithful to the convent, and beautiful grounds and chapel. We did not want to leave.
