This place is hidden as you need to go inside through and entrance where bicycles are parked. It is easy to find as it is next to Goethe Institut. The staff is super nice and the cakes are delicious (I haven't eaten but the food looks great). Sometimes there is live music in the evening. I recommend this place because of the atmosphere as you can have a coffee, or eat or have a drink.

Jos Fritz is a very famous under students for its relaxing atmosphere. Good place for healty food and working on laptop.

Cute little café with a frequently changing and balanced menu full of dishes that area just a little different to what you get at other places. There's heaps of options for everyone including vegetarian and vegan even in the little sweets sections at the counter. The portions are ok but don't except huge plates that'll leave you stuffed and sleepy.
Best time is during summer when you can soak up a little bit of sun sitting in their outside be garden. And even though it's close to the main road there's some enjoyable tranquility present and the backyard setup keeps it quiet.response / report this review -

In a hidden alley in the inner city, josfritz offers great coffee and food. On weekend nights, the place turns into a nightlife gem, attracting different kinds of crowds to its famous alternative events.

Ob es am Tag dort Kaffee gibt, kann ich nicht sagen, vielleicht mag das ganz nett sein. Nachts war ich dort um Freunde zu treffen und musste Eintritt für "Live-Musik" bezahlen (noch nie habe ich Geld so zum Fenster rausgeworfen). Es ist ein richtiger Druffi-Schuppen, was man direkt beim Hineingehen gemerkt bzw. gerochen hat und ohne Drogen kann die "Musik" kein Mensch feiern. Da ich darauf nicht stehe und auch nicht komplett besoffen war, bin ich nach wenigen Minuten wieder gegangen. Hat den Eindruck gemacht, als wäre es ein pseudo-alternativer Schuppen für linke Drogenjunkies. Am Tag ist es dort vielleicht ganz nett
