A decent place with very friendly and helpful staff. The wellness area with four saunas really stands out. The rooms are not exactly modern but in good shape and clean. The only downside is that it is - whereas beautifully situated at a small lake - outside the city centre. But the public transport connects downtown Berlin fairly well, so that needn't be an issue.

I stayed here for two nights and after we came back from our second day out we found that housekeeping had not come by. We called the front desk to let them know they got it for us. We soon after realized we also did not have toilet paper so we called the front for that as well. The same man came upstairs and gave us toilet papers and instead of apologizing told us that it was our fault that we did not go downstairs to let them know that we did not have toilet paper. We asked if it was our fault that housekeeping did not do their job and now we are asking for toilet paper and he said yes.

I never leave bad reviews for hotels, but for this hotel I really had to. They use old school keys and their bedding felt like ones I have used in motels. It was the cheapest "4-star" hotel in Berlin for a reason.. Also, it is far from the city center of Berlin.

Excellent value for money. The rooms were big enough, had 2 single beds, very clean. Food was average, but did not try breakfast. Quite far from the centre, best to have a car.
