Friendly hotel staff, a nice restaurant and clean rooms. The hotels WiFi (I was on the premium one) was a mess and sadly not reliable.

The hotel was decent with a good breakfast buffet and games for kids but in my opinion quite pricey. The location is good, not far from the Munich bahnhof and there is a U station (messestadt west) right in front of the hotel, plus a shopping mall with range of restaurants beside the hotel.

A nice hotel, clean (mostly see below) and modern decor with a nice bar and breakfast. Also very convenient access to public transport links.
Unfortunately it loses a star because a previous guest seems to have cooked noodles in the kettle in my room and housekeeping obviously hadn't cleaned it - noodles and coffee don't mix! 🤢
Housekeeping changed it at the second time of asking the front desk.response / report this review -

We've stayed at Novotel Munich Messe a couple of times and each stay was great. Room-service is quick and tasty, excellent breakfast buffet and public transport to Munich city center is right next door. For people who come to shop there is also a well-stocked shopping center right next door.
Rooms are nice and bright with modern decor. There is also convenient parking in the underground garage.response / report this review -

I'm a tour leader. The telephone of my guests did not work. Then, I tried to contact reception twice but they were helpless.
The first time, I was transferred to the tech department but no one answered. The second time, a girl picked up the phone and said no one can fix or change during weekends and also no room to change due to full booking. She suggested to use mobile phone to make an online call to contact to each other.
However, I asked for the compensate such as beer or juice for my guests because of inconvenience. The girl kept silent and hung up on me by 'thank you for calling'. The worst service I never had. I contacted my local company and they was talking to reception on the phone while I was in lobby. I saw the girl showing a funny face expression and seemed she thought the whole thing is ridiculous.
There is less services during weekends for sure and some staff don't take things serious.
For me, this is the last hotel in Munich I will stay next time despite the room is nice.response / report this review -

Lovely, lovely, lovely staff. Well run efficient hotel. Attention to detail splendid. Rooms spotless. Beds big and comfortable. Food tasty.

The usual Novotel standard, wouldnt stay there except for nearness to convention centre ( 3 minutes walk). Very overpriced. Executive room I had ( 323), quite smaller than is advertised at photo. Most of receptionists were helpful and friendly. But non had interest in helping guests with concierge questions. Food was unexpectedly good. Taxi ride to downtown was not less than 25 min and cost about 25-30 euros.

Large rooms and great breakfast. Very modern and great staff. Located near subway and next to large mall with lots of eateries.
