Old, but really clean hotel. We did like family room, it was big, quite and comfortable. Stuff always friendly.
Excellent service at this hotel and very good value for money (especially with the complementary upgrade to a very fine room with a balcony). I would recommend it most strongly.
Free upgrade to a brand new, very modern room. Friendly staff, and great breakfast every morning. The only thing that was a little tough was the parking garage. Spaces are very narrow and difficult to get into. Other than that, a great experience!
Friendly staff. Rooms and building have seen better days. All in all a visit to the late eighties. Load ac. Breakfast was adequate though.
Stayed here 1 night with my wife while visiting the old town. It's a pleasant, well appointed hotel. It's quite large and looks to have acquired multiple buildings over time. Our room was in the North end, not sure if different parts of the hotel are different.
Bed was comfy, room was clean and nicely furnished with quite a traditional look that's rather charming.
Breakfast was good, continental and good selection. It snowed while we were eating breakfast, which was magic.
If you are going to Marburg to visit the Old Town, be aware it's about 10-15 minute walk from this hotel, and there is a large hill to climb. This didn't bother us too much (we are early 30s) but maybe a consideration for older guests. The hotel itself is in more of a suburban area, not the Old Town.
The area seemed safe. There was parking underneath the hotel for free. It's quite tight, so don't bring a large vehicle.
Staff all friendly and helpful, fluent in English. Would stay here again.
Clean. Great service. Nice, spacious rooms. Included breakfast was very nice.
It looks good. Price is ok
A good place to stay. The eggs at the breakfast buffet were very good - normally I'm not a fan of scrambled eggs in hotels but these ones were good enough to get a second helping.
Nice hotel, clean rooms, good choices for breakfast, not expensive.
