Very nice hotel located close to the walking areas in the village centre.
The room was very clean and welcoming, facing the garden.
The staff was very professional and friendly.
The breakfast had everything You could wish for.
This is a hotel I will come back to!

Nice place although a little dated.
The breakfast is excellent.
The staff are the friendliest I have come across.
A 'safe' in the room would have been nice.
The internet connection is great.
Would stay again surely.

We came here for a one night stay before Munich. Nice friendly staff that didn't mind that I didn't speak German. Clean rooms. Beds are a bit too stiff for my liking but that was alright. Room does come with a fridge but no microwave. We really liked the balcony where we had a few beers at the end of our evening. They also have a 24 h snack and beverage bar which is convenient.

Staff are great! Dinner and breakfast are also perfect which made my stay so satisfied. Parking lot in its own garage is very convenient as well. Room is little bit old-fashioned but bring no impact to my stay.

Just few mins walk to city centre. Nice location! Will visit this H+ again when i visit GP in next Germany trip.

In the 2.5 weeks we traveled throughout Europe this was by far the best hotel we stayed in! The rooms were large, clean and updated. The hotel is a gorgeous example of perfect German ambiance and style. The breakfast was heavenly and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Literally the ONLY negative was the lack of AC. The room got a tad warm at night for us. Otherwise it was just perfect and I'd highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed in March 2017 in Alpina. The hotel is very cosy, the rooms are nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and diner was very good. My only small recommendation is to look into the bed pillow which was very soft and flat. Thank you for a wonderful stay

4.5 stars.
Pros: Great location - only 1.5 km to the Hausberg Ski Lift and to the center of Garmisch. Nice pool and spa area. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Cons: Charged 6 euros per day extra for parking (should be included). Also charged to borrow robe and slippers. Rooms are old and could use an update. One tiny elevator.

Rooms are clean with lots of storage in the room. Bathrooms are roomy and clean. There is a small workout area and a very nice sauna area. The breakfast is great. Very close to.the hill can walk or take the snow bus that stops at the corner. Very central. Rooms could use a little updating but it is part of the charm.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly, informative and provided good quality service. The hotel is in a great location as the town centre and train station was a stones throw away. The spa was clean and wasn't overcrowded. The gym was a little bit basic but was fine for a quick routine. My only qualm with the hotel was the lack of vegetarian options, my husband and I are both lacto-vegetarians and the hotel provided very little options for us. So we generally ate out. Overall a lovely hotel and I would definitely stay there again and would also recommend to anyone else intending on going.

Nice, clean, modern Hotel. A ample selection of breakfast which is fresh and tasty. We have also tried the Hotel Restaurant which is also superb. Hotel rooms were clean and modern.

The only little things that were not clear was the charges on the 0.5l fizzy and still water, we thought it was complimentary. We have to cross a yard to go to our rooms, without any shelter or help from the staff.

Location is not central but minutes away from centre.
