Quaint, mountain lodge feel. Great place to go and relax outside of the city. Beautiful walk around the Riessersee, and a phenomenal gentleman working behind the front desk that made our stay more than pleasant. Would recommend as long as you don't mind paying for a cab, or a little ways walk into Marienplatz.

Nice rooms, wonderful services, exceptional views. The only con I would say would be the food at Ziggy's is bland and the Starbucks coffee (non barista/a machine) is awful. The buffet next to the lobby is nice and Garnish is amazing year round.

Really nice hotel, depending on what side you get the view could be fabulous or less so. Nonetheless a great hotell with both outside and inside swimming pools. Really modern.

The hotel is dated but the rooms are comfortable. You can't beat the view of the lake or the town below. Great breakfast buffet. There is no air conditioning but it isn't needed when it's cool outside even now in July.

Wonderful stay - visited Sept 2015, revisiting the times we spent in Garmisch in the early 70's. The resort is very nice - food was great, service even better. Very charming. It was rainy and overcast during our stay until the morning of check out - sun came out and viola! The Zugspitze appeared! (Skied there in the 70's!) Photo is from the Lakehouse Restaurant deck. Don't miss it!

Absolutely lovely. Rooms are designed to look like wood lodges, and the hotel is situated just up a hill from the main town. It was winter, so it may be different come summer, but it was very peaceful. Mostly, I enjoyed the location, which allowed for hikes around the lake.

Great location. Nice and clean hotel. Superb service. Good variety of food. Had great time there last week with my family and waiting to go back in spring.
