  Generally ok. The lift is probably in the Guinness book as the slowest in the world otherwise everything is quite presentable and usable. One becomes the impression that many of the staff are very long-term employees who (unfortunately) did their last customer service training in another era many many moons ago. Probably not a problem for your average German retiree but certainly not up to standard for discerning international customers who expect and usually become a significantly better service standard. Prices moderate but range limited to pretty much what one can purchase anywhere. The unfortunate and seemingly universal trend towards generic products and house brands at close to brand name prices is also well represented in Kaufhof.

  Traditionelles Kaufhaus mit gutem Sortiment. Hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter und angenehme Öffnungszeiten. Leicht erreichbar allerdings hohe Parkhausgebühren

  Das Angebot ist zwar saisonal ausgerichtet, man gibt sich viel Mühe und das Personal ist sehr nett, aber ein Kaufhaus kann eben nicht mit einem herkömmlichen Restaurant mithalten. Einen Pluspunkt bekommt die Kuchentheke. Die Auswahl ist sehr gut und der Kuchen sowie die Torten sehr lecker.
