Stayed at the hotel for the third year in a row and really enjoyed it. Incredibly easy to reach from the station and a great central location to explore the city from. It has become my home away from home whenever Amphi festival is on and I'll definitely be back next year.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment felt a bit like home away from home with plenty of space for sleeping, relaxing and eating in. Proximity to the central station and a lovely brew house as well. Would definitely stay again!

We had a perfect check in. Staff is very formal, super friendly and polite. We booked a superior room and during check in they upgraded us to an apartment (just opposite hotel). It was fantastic!!! So big!!! Lovely place! And location is perfect.

The apartment was roomy and very close to the Dom Cathedral. However, we had no hot water at all ,and trash was left behind from the last tenants in the bathroom and that was gross. We called the front desk the night before about the hot water problem and asked if there was some trick to using the hot water. The front desk said they would send a guy downstairs to look at the water problem but in the morning, we still did not have hot water. I would also not recommend going during the summer months. The apartment was very stuffy and warm. While most of older hotels in Germany do not use AC, this apartment didn't even have fans. Also, there is construction going on across from the apartments. Because the room was so warm, the window had to be opened all the way to let cool air in. At 6am, construction guys were moving metal paneling and no one could sleep from all the noise. The front desk asked how our stay was and their reply to no hot water was just "Thanks for letting us know". We still paid full price for the room. 2 stars are just for the apartment being roomy and the location to the Dom Cathedral and the centre. If you can handle the heat and no hot water and potential noise of construction going on, this hotel would be the perfect fit.

Affordable, good central location, large size apartment, low quality equipment. good for short business stay, super expensive parking in the street, no parking in house.

Very beautiful hotel, very accommodating with our late check in, location was very convenient, loved the two room suite, and a very reasonable price.

For the most part, we really enjoyed our stay. The beds and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. I don't mind firm, but this was to an extreme. The apartment was nicely decorated, and clean. The shower could have used more attention, as there was mold in the corners . The breakfast was well worth the price, and there was a large selection for everyone's taste. The location is perfect for exploring Cologne, and we will definitely be back. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! The service, the care, and the accommodations were very much appreciated.

I was only in for a brief stay, but had no larger complaints. The staff was nice and friendly, and the room was in good condition.

Only tidbit is that there was no form of air conditioning in the double room I stayed in, so it got a bit hot on a warm day. Opening the window helped some, but there's a fountain right outside that causes quite a bit of noise. It does get shut off during the night though, which is good.

Other than that the stay was enjoyable. The hotel is in a central area which brings a lot of convenience, and it's very close to the cathedral which sure is a sight!
