We stopped here late evening and was still able to order dinner at 10pm. The rooms had been decorated with all manner of festive bits and pieces. Service was great, as was beer and food.

Delicious food and an awesome atmosphere. Visited during December when they were in full Christmas mode and got to meet a professional basketball player (Nick Zeisloft) due to friendly servers and the great atmosphere!

Real deal, dyed in the wool German bar/restaurant. With over 80 years of experience, 9 draft beers, and huge dinner portions this place still exists for good reason. Bernd is often behind the bar and does a great job. I love the large variety of housemade schnapps!

Definitely worth a few hours of your time.

Very good German food, they had lamb and other choices of fish and chicken as well. Beer was excellent and dessert as well. Service very friendly.

Stopped by for a quick drink before dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the quaint decor and warm atmosphere. They have a small selection of German beers on tap including Guinness for some reason. They also have a lot of liqueurs and brandys, seemingly house-made, stored atop the bar in giant glass vials. Prices are pretty good too!

This place has been here forever. It has the feeling of a neighborhood watering hole, and maintains its' old original feel. Genuinely a „Berlinisch” kind of spot that has grown rare. It's more than a Kneipe.
They also carry a beer from the Black Forest area that I've seen nowhere else in Berlin. (The name of the maiden on the label is Birgit!)

Cozy atmosphere for drinks and dinner with friends. The decidedly German cuisine (pork! potatoes! or since you're in the north: pickled fish!) is hearty and well prepared. The servers were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great evening, Dicke Wirtin!

What a charming place in neighbourhood. It's like stepping in into a museum. This is a very popular bar/restaurant so reservation in advance is recommended. Good food, big portion and friendly service.
