In Cologne for 3 nights. Christmas markets visit. The hotel for location to Christmas markets 10\10
5 minutes walk from Train station
    Check in 10\10
Room really nice 213 was at side.
Bed and pillows 10\10 really comfortable.
Bathroom only a shower but good shower. Would have preferred usual complimentary bathroom soaps etc etc 9\10
Mini bar consisted of complimentary bottle sparkling water each.
There was a location ideal for tea & coffee but it's not available. This was a negative point.
    Room service and cleanliness 10\10
We didn't use the restaurant other than for 1 drink. So not able to comment.
    Staff all helpful.
Checkout was bit slow. Checkout time is 11am and we left it to after 10.20 big wait everyone at same time, and only 1 receptionist.
Definitely a nice hotel ,good location especially for Christmas markets.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Cologne, perfect for the Christmas Markets. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were very attentive and were extremely helpful when needed. Highly recommend this hotel.

Though the hotel is in the center, I am not satisfied with my stay experience. First of all during my check out on 10.11.2017, I requested to check out at 12.00, but the lady in the receptionist told me that I have to check out at 11.00. And said that it is a rule for the hotel. I travel a lot and first time I saw a hotel that wants his clients to check out at 11.00 and do not even accept 12:00. I believe if she had told me that in a more kindly way, rather than a empty look to customers. I wouldn't complain about it. We paid 185 Euro approximately for a double room which is almost the same rate of 5 star hotels and I think we deserve 2 pairs of towels. Every day, I called them to have a towel. And finally rooms are not clean at all. evrn you can find pets fur on sofas.

This will be my last visit to this hotel and I will never stay there and recommend it to no one.

The hotel was clean, attractive, and the location was excellent. Our room was quite big and had a nice view of the streets below. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had tons of options. Service at breakfast could have been a bit better (waited quite a while to be acknowledged) but otherwise we will definitely go back. We also appreciated the two bottles of free water in the room!

Our hotel was in a good location and was easy to walk to from the train station - all sites of interest were easy to get to.
The room was clean and spacious. Air con was fantastic. The downsides were minor: no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and the shower door was oddly fitted meaning we soaked the bathroom floor!
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, helping us with whatever we needed (including printing boarding passes for our return flight). They were also incredibly efficient.
Would definitely stay in a City Class hotel again if this is the service - we will be looking for one where we next travel

What a wonderful hotel. It was in the perfect location for our needs that we could go out and explore and pop back in the room without taking any bags with us. The room was perfect and the bathroom was well planned out, that it was a very nice stay for a fun weekend at carnival!

Room was clean and very spacious. Bathroom was exceptionally spacious. Maybe too much. Hotel is located at the heart of Cologne. You can have many options for the restaurants, and it is 7 min walking distance from the main station. If you go around the dome to the left, you will find the hotel very easy. No steps to climb with your suitcases. Overall, good experience.

This hotel is in the perfect location, it is minuets walk from anywhere you want to go, surround by great places to eat and drink and has a really good breakfast buffet. The rooms are on the small side, however they seem to be newly refurbished with big comfy beds and really great shower. We were here for a Gig and to visit the Christmas markets and this hotel is perfectly positioned for the markets with one being 25 feet from the front door. Price mid range at €147 per night in early December 2016. If you want high quality, great location, but basic then it's perfect.
