Very picturesque camping with a nearly perfect position at the lakeside. Clean and functional facilities, and very friendly staff. We have been here several times, and enjoyed it every time. The surroundings are beautiful and historic. Pitches are not oversized, but it is fine. Only downside is the Restaurant Anna Amalia. Visited it twice, same bad experience. We walk the 200 meters extra, and get splendid food and service in the hotel.
This is a super site with the most luxurious wash block that we have ever come across! There is a super restaurant and good shop, and the site is within easy reach of Potsdam and Berlin. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Our only reservation is that the pitches are rather tight, so technically it might be a 4.5 - with just a bit more space it would be a solid 5 stars!
Eww
Nice campsite with stiff prices.
WiFi is of poor quality, Dutch people are spoiled with good WiFi everywhere so expect such quality also at a campsite in this price category!
Great facilities and nice food in the restaurant
Excellent campsite and would return if touring that part of Germany again. Warm welcome with a small glass of wine - a nice touch - also escorted to pitch, which was very helpful since pitches were not always numbered. Liked having electricity and water supply close by. The internet provision was a bit hit/miss - best close to the reception area, which was not always convenient. Very good toilet and shower blocks, but found the layout strange - the toilets in one of the blocks being away from the showers! Like other reviewer, the cash-only payment system for the campsite seemed odd, when compared with the camp restaurant which accepted cards and cash!! Lovely area locally for cycling and easy access into Potsdam itself.
Very good experience.
Excellent location by the river.
The facilities clean and proper.
The assistants very kind.
Only one complain, the wifi almost inexistent, extremely low signal, almost impossible to navigate the internet.
