  Really really cheap beer (1.30€)!
  
  Often ridiculously busy on Fridays and Saturdays, but it's a great atmosphere. You can play music upstairs on their stereo which is cool. Staff are friendly.
  
  Great place to meet random interesting and slightly hipster people in Munich.

  Finally came to the famous Cafe Kosmos. A bit small and crowded but very cozy. Interesting selection of drinks. Good hang out place if you can find a place to sit.

  OK, if you are a fan of Berlin's alternative crowd, this is where you should go in Munich to experience that. While super crowded on the usual peak evenings, it is a legendary place! From my friends who actually drink beer, the 250ml draft is 1.20€. There are drinks of the week which adds a nice touch of variety to it. Also the bar staff promote local artists on a regular basis. You can book the top room to have your own party and bring your own food (NOT drinks!) and play your own music. Take a disposable cup from the bar, have a smoke outside while drinking and socialise! Always interesting people!

  Good variety of small cocktails, and cheap (especially considering its location near Hauptbahnhof). However, usually very crowded in the evening.

  Very popular with locals and served good drinks. They squeeze their own apple juice in front of you even on busy Saturday nights
