Nice biergarten with a very pleasant atmosphere. Frequent live music and a great playground for the little ones. Plenty of shade and umbrellas. Food (at least outside) is typical biergarten fare. Nothing tremendous, but not lacking, either. Fischer-Vroni steckerlfisch is very good. My only real disappointment is that the beer available is Löwenbräu, but that only matters to a real Münchner Beer Snob.

A good place to have beer with friends. They also have a big playground, where children can have fun.

My favorite beer garden in Munich. Fewer tourists. Great playground for the kids. Live music on Sunday afternoons.

Relaxed beer garden nestled in a quiet part of the Englischer Garten. The food is on par with most other beer gardens (nothing to write home about) but two things set this one apart from the others. 1. They boast the best playground for kids with a trampoline, zip line and boat climbing structure. 2. In the summer, they carefully curate a music calendar with bands from all genres, not just classic German music. So if you are here for a few days, this beer garden definitely warrants a bike ride as your efforts will be rewarded with a much less touristy experience.

The English garden Is a huge park that is perfect to relax and getaway from city centre.
Lots to see including surfers, small bands playing and a wild river carrying swimmers along.
You can reach this place by Metro and walk through. They have loads of traditional food and beer.
