We stayed only for a night. The overall impression of the hotel was very nice and well-tended. But the lady at the reception told us, that the hotel was undergoing renovation. And the smell of paint was very strong, especially inside of our room.

This may possibly be the worst hotel in Germany. If you are looking for an expensive hostel, this is your place. Awful customer service, dirty rooms and dirty bed. Other reviews had to have been written by the owners.

I arrived friday, had no problems communicating in english, the room is big and the sights are beautiful with wasserpark nearby, I recommend it.

The room was clean and the receptionist was nice and polite. The breakfast was a bit overpriced considering the low quality, but it was good enough to get the day started. (i.e. they had fresh coffee).
Parking was a bit of a hassle, but not to bad (parking on the street, 5min walk). It was easy to drive by the entrance on the first try because it looks more like a private driveway.
Overall we hab a nice stay.

Great pick. Hotel is recently renovated and it is still quite cozy. Comfy bed and good breakfast.

Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Room was nice, but I did have to open the window at night to keep it cool. Easy walk to US consulate (why we stayed). Only real issue I found is there is no elevator which could cause a problem for some.
