Great place. Very posh with warm welcome. Free welcome drink. TV works. In walking distance of shops. Nice pool - very original. Comfy beds with working shower and toilets. Highly recommendable

Nice renovated hotel. Great views of the mountains. Friendly and helpful staff. They offered me free drinks (Orange juice, champagne, and water) upon check-in.

A lovely hotel in Garmisch. Great staff and service. The only thing keeping it from a 5 Star is the parking. It was nearby (Parkhaus 13), but was different than other parking garages in Germany in that you had to prepay to get the daily rate (which is not included with the hotel).

It had a great Bavarian feel that matched the culture and the 14th century vibe of the town. Being clean and also having a pool, sauna, and other fabulous amenities earned it the rating of five stars.

Some rooms really nice others wrote dated but still you and pleasant. Great views around the town and the natural pool really nice.

The hotel was old, but it appears that they are working on it. There was construction underway on the pool. I wish I would have known that their pool spa area was not fully functioning. The hot tub also was not operational.

Our room was very old, the furniture was plain wood and always apeared dusty and dull.

The staff were well mannered and attentive.

The hotel was very accommodating for us bringing our dog.

I think there should have been some consideration for not having all the amenities up and running. The price was among the lowest in the area but they should have given something for the inconvenience.
