    Great place to stay. Friendly and helpful front desk staff, great free breakfast, nicely furnished room with small refrigerator. Good price.

    One of the worst experiences of eating out I've had. 8 of us sat down to be ignored for 5-10 minutes. Eventually we got served, had a round of drinks. Local beer was quite nice. Upon trying to order some food from the menu we were told that the chef could only cope making 2 different meals for a party of 8. at this point we should of left but just decided to order pasta dishes. 7 dishes out of the 8 turned up. 2 of the meals had but of rock hard white bits which looked like bones. When we complained about the meal that was missing the waitress couldn't of cared less. Just laughed about it, we ended up just paying and leaving. Every single place we went on the 3 day holiday got tips from our group. This was the only one we payed to the exact crown. Pathetic

    This place is dreadful. We are stuck in a living nightmare. Noisy dirty and the staff are ignorant and want nothing more than to argue with you.
    Example - my room was very noisy last night, someone was walking loudly up and down outside our room until two in the morning
    'No, that cannot happen it is not allowed"
    But it did!
    'No, it is not allowed'
    Ok, how can I tell you if it happens again?
    'Phone us'
    Howthere is no phone in our room!
    'Yes, there must be'
    No, there is not. Please move us to a better room, our is no better than a cupboard.
    'We are fully booked, it is not possible'
    I would like a refund
    'That is not possible'

    I am sick of this 'hotel'by far the worst I have stayed in. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

    Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, and it wasn't very pleasant. customer service was very poor, as we arrived, we have been 'ordered' by their staff to fill in some forms with all the personal information including visa status which was totally unnecessary!
    They then checked the information we filled in very 'carefully' almost susbisously with reference to our passport. They were even dumb enough to say that my husband did not have a legal status while his ID was clearly printed on the pages of his passport ! After I point out where the visa was, the staff said it was not something to prove the status! She even said ' I can print 10, or 20 of this' myself !
    Do they get any training before starting their jobs I wonder? We expect nice warming 'customer service' in a HOTEL, but felt like criminals being questioned by police!!! We spent a long time at the reception and the kids were tired after the fight, so i asked if she could phone the relevant authority to check what she doubt. She then replied rudely: yes I will check it myself!
    She then went to make a phone call to here manager. After a while, without any explanation and apology for the delay, she started to check us in.
    We finally went into our room. The toilet could not be flushed properly, furnitures were either very old or not in a reasonable condition. Air conditioning was not functioning properly as it was not cool enough. It was noisy in the room as we could hear sounds from we don't-know-where.

    The breakfast was exactly the same for 3 consecutive mornings, and there wasn't many things to choose from. It finished at 10:30 and you are not allowed to stay in the dinning afterwards with waiters approaching rudely and 'order' you to leave despite the fact that we have 3 children to feed.

    Then the check out time!
    They asked us to wait at the hall before check us out, saying they need to check the room and make sure nothing is missing. So we waited then someone came saying there is a towel missing and accused my youngest for taking it. After we denied the accusation, they asked us TO OPEN OUR SUITCASES for them to check! We just want to leave the place so we opened the luggage and asked if they really want to check. There was then a discussion about the missing towel between the hotel staff, and then, again, without any apology, they let us leave!
    My advice: do not expect services you usually get from a real hotel;
    Ensure the staff count the number of towel they put in shower;
    Get up early if you want to have breakfast, especially when you have kids with you;
    And, finally, if you have a choice: DO NOT GO THERE!!!

    Very comfortable hotel at the heart of Prague. Very close to the Karlov bridge and to The Old Town square. The staff is very friendly and professional and the kitchen is very delicious (especially Italian pasta carbonara)

    The room was incredibly tiny and we got a double bed instead of the twin beds we asked for. That wasn't a problem because sleep was impossible anyway due to the family above us of which both parents had obvious anger issues. That they were screaming in two languages was a plus. The staff was pretty noisy as well but since the TV didn't work I guess it was nice of them to entertain us with their gossip in the hallways. They must have thought we didn't understand Czech, and made disrespectful comments about our appearances directly in front of us in the elevator. Never again.

    Reasonably priced. Large, apartment style room when only booked double room. Decent breakfast. Big con though: sound insolation is awful. Could perfectly hear people in the next room when speaking calmly.

    An ok room for a great price, in a perfect location (short walk to the Old Town Square & Charles Bridge). Only downside was the smell of urine near the entrance to the room - it seemed to disappear by the end of our stay though.
