We had a great stay at this hotel. Very clean, cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and it was great value for money. It's central to all main attractions. Would definitely recommend to stay here and I hope to return myself

The hotel has a fabulous location, with many sites and fun things to do an easy walk away. My room was huge, with a little sitting parlor and a large bedroom and well appointed bath. There was no view, but the charm of the room more than made up for that. I enjoyed my stay.

Excellent quite location. Very helpful reception & concierge staff. Especially Sonja & an elderly gentleman at night duties. Adequate breakfast.
The only downside is air conditioning. It was fixed at 26*C.
    Good value for money.

Overall a good Hotel. We had a group of 13 across 5 rooms and all were well maintained and clean.
Check in took just a few minutes, however one of our guests had to wait for an hour after check in time outside his room as it was still being tidied. Similarly, when asking for the key to retrieve our bags from the luggage room when our transfer back to the airport arrived, it took well over half an hour and no one seemed to be in a rush to help despite numerous times of asking. This kind of in-your-own-time service was common across our trip in Prague in bars and restaurants also so is likely not just this hotel.
There was also a lot of construction work going on in the foyer making it very noisy and a bit of a mess.

That being said, the hotel is in a great location, the rooms were very spacious and well maintained and decorated, and is very reasonably priced for what you get. I would stay here again.

Great hotel, good service. Best thing was that it is in the heart of the old town. We were a short 2min walk to the famous Clock tower and main square. Our room was very spacious. The bathroom was also very big. The bed was extra comfortable. Breakfast was excellent downstairs with lots of tables and chairs very fine dinning style, breakfast was toast, eggs, sausages, cereals and fruit with an array of sweet cakes. We left another hotel to come to this one due to it's location. Also we were two females and felt much safer being in a hotel with concierge and in an area safe to go out at night and walk the busy tourist streets. Great little market is right outside the door open everyday. My only gripe was that I smelt a bleach smell sometimes coming from the bathroom. I would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent hotel, retro style, but always with its charm. Located in Prague's city center and close to the Mustek metro station. Friendly and polite staff, some of them speak Italian. The room was huge with kitchenette, bathroom (with bidet) and two double beds, although it was for two people. The view of the room was pretty much towards the old Prague square. The abundant breakfast goes from simple fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, milk and various cafes, cappuccinos, etc., there are also eggs, wurstel and various slices. Really an excellent facility. Only bad note is a smelly smell in the bathroom, but just turn on the suction fan and in a few moments it disappears.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything is so close in walking distance to the hotel.
The rooms were well appointed and the Front Desk staff were very helpful.
    The breakfast was excellent too.
Only slight concern is that the air conditioner in the room was poor and would not cool the room below 22 degrees, no matter how low we turned it.

Excellent property situated in the center of the old town area. Property is a bit outdated, but extremely clean. We had an issue with the water in the bathroom sink, however with a bit of convincing, it was rectified. Please note that not all the rooms have split air-conditioning, and hence the rooms which dont have a dedicated split air conditioning, the rooms get very hot and stuffy in the summer month. We stayed in mid-June 2017. But the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast was fairly basic. Location of the property is excellent for visiting old town area and for shopping , etc.

Starting with the front desk, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were shocked by the generous size of our room; the bed was comfortably firm. Good, strong WIFI and air conditioning (thank goodness!!!) The breakfast was also generous, and the coffee was good too! Superb location near the main old town square as well as the metro and tram stations to get everywhere else! I'd like to come back when there weren't quite so many people!!!

Great location, few minutes from the heart of the city. The rooms are big and beds are comfy. It shows few sign of age, but you can easily move on. Breakfast is good, even if, being Italian, I'm a little bit disappointed on the coffee side, but it's a common feeling traveling. Definitely a good and recommended location for a Prague trip.

Nice spacious room. The one that I've received have one king size bed and another one pretty suitable for two persons and a small kitchen. It's very clean. The breakfast is not very rich but it will do.

Lovely hotel a stone throw from the old square. I only wish the reception staff wouldn't smoke in the only door way. Breakfast continental style with some strange item's for UK visitors, obviously not strange to locals.

Leon D' Oro is an elegant hotel centrally located in the Old Town district of Prague. Rooms are quiet, the breakfast buffet is wide and varied. Our room has a balcony, TV, full kitchen, bureau, sleeper couch, complimentary internet. T

Nice reception and cleaning staff. Rooms were clean and warm. Breakfast was standard fare, with bread, eggs, cereal, yoghurt, cold meats, cakes, bad coffee and inedible apples. The WiFi was horrific. I'd avoid another stay here on that basis alone. There's no lack of access points, but it's the flakiest connection I've ever experienced in a European hotel. Amazing location though, within a short walk of the old town square and lots of museums.
