Very nice place and staff! Would recommend it. Access could be better (steep narrow stairs, no dedicated parking). If you are coming by car I would recommend you first trying to park in the white zone in front of the place - during weekend it's free almost all the time (Saturday 8:00 - 12:00 it costs 1.6 EUR / hour).

Great location, nice breakfast, water, coffe and tea for for free all day long. The stuff is friendly! Rooms are cosy and whole atmosphere is very friendly and warm! You will be there as a Elf family part! Greetings to Elf!

Accommodating, kind, and flexible. We showed up earlier than our booked time and they let us store our packs and wait for our rooms. We were only here one night before we moved into our apartment in Prague, but we were met with much care. The hostel was clean, and they were respectful of both people that wanted to stay up late and have beers and those they wanted to sleep. A great balance. If you're looking to check out a more local neighborhood than center city, their location in Prague 3 can't be beat, and only steps from the bus station.

I don't really know where to start I was in another hostel first, but left since it wasn't that nice.

Looked all over the internet for my other options, and picked Elf as the winner. From the moment I entered the door I enjoyed it, the staff is really cool and helpful.

The rooms are pretty good, showers and toilets are clean. (don't expect anything fancy, but it'll do the job)

Then there is the common area, the terrace they have outside. This is where you sit and have your beer. People here are just so chill, hang out there, start a conversation and all of the sudden you have your own squad, ready to get a taste of Prague's night life.

Oh and not to forget; free breakfast.

Always a great atmosphere and the only hostel we use when in Prague. Can't recommend more.

Just spent 2 nights there, very clean, excellent staff, comfortable beds, easy to find, it's cheap and breakfast is included along with other events. Would definitely stay there again.

So far one of the best hostel !! The rooms are really big and clean and they also offer free buffet breakfast. Not in the city center but it takes about 10 minutes walk through the park. Definitelly recommend this place for travellers..

I was in this hostel in January 2017 for 5 nights, had the best times in my whole Eurotrip in that hostel. Very relaxed, comfy and clean. I'd say the staff very professional, welcoming and helpful especially at advises and tips about Prague. The atmosphere was great, enjoyed every moment with friends I met there. Considering the really cheap price per night - Hostel Elf is your safest bet.

They charge you extra if paying with card. The place is not specially nice but is quite ok and not that pricy.
They include breakfast but is served from 9 (a bit late) and is not very good, namely: not specially good bread for toasts, butter, 1 jam and some kind of nutella; instant coffee or tee and one kind of cheese and one of ham.

You need locks if you want to use the lockers (just an advice, anyway thats me most usual).

I liked this hostel a lot! It was very relaxed and had a nice environment. My only complaint is that I ended up with a bed that didn't have its own wall plug or reading lamp (most beds did have them).

Rooms were comfy, friendly staff and a decent price. Downsides are being a bit of a walk from the city and that when catching a 4:30am taxi I was greeted by 4 very drunk people and a member of staff. The member of staff was professional, but it was a bit strange to say the least.

It was one of the best hostels I've been to! Reasonably priced, friendly staff and service, very social so it's easy to meet people and the room was clean and comfortable. I'll go there again if I visit Prague

It's my first time staying in the hostel. This place gives me so good impression. friendly staffs. Not far from the old town square. You can take the bus no. 207 in front of the hostel or you may walk also not difficult.. Just few turns and go alonggggg the way you will be it a beautiful square.
