Nice Restaurant, great service and delicious food. Entrecôte was very nice and the bohemian potato soup was perfect for the cold evening. I would go back just for the soup!

This was a Big Disappointment. The hotel is in an excellent location, in an old, quaint building right in the center of this fascinating town. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the WiFi is free and relatively fast. However-- there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom, and after 9:30 the reception desk was dark and empty, so we could not ask anyone. The reading lamps near the beds were dim and useless. The restaurant, which is said to be open until 10, was closing by 9:40. The breakfast was good, but to get coffee you had to ask a busy server-- a first in my experience. For a hotel at this price we would have expected more.

Stayed in room 8, which is one of the rooms in the other building (a short walk from the reception area). I can confirm now that there's wifi available in the room.

The bathroom is modern. Hot water is readily available. Although the bedroom and the living room are a bit dated, but that's part of the experience of staying in a 400 year old building, which also means that there's no elevator. Do prepare to hand carry luggage up narrow staircases.

Nice view from the window, can see the castle.

The only complaint I have is that the curtains are a bit too sheer. At night, street lights can shine through.

Don't expect English channel available on TV also.

Friendly staff and good breakfast selections.

We stayed for two days and it was a very comfortable stay. It is very close to Krumlov town centre, top location, but still- like the rest of the town- quiet enough to relax. There were two bedrooms and a toilet. There was no main room but the master bedroom was very large and had a nice seating area. The beds were very comfortable and there was a sufficient amount of storage for clothing. However the wifi didn't reach our room because of the thick walls but we could get it in the reception. The man at the reception was extremely helpful, when we asked about one of the tours, he helped us to call them and asked for information. However TV did not have many English channels. The breakfast in the morning had a few foods to choose from. There was traditional Czech bread and there were cereals, ham, cheese and spreads. There wasn't any hot breakfast apart from some type of egg. Inside the hotel there was a restaurant. We are there for both nights. On one night there were guitarists who were very good and they were excellent entertainment. There was not a huge selection but the food was very very nice. The service was very fast and efficient. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We ate here twice as the food and service are excellent. The soups are great--we tried 3 different ones. The Trout Tartare starter is highly recommended. My daughter also enjoyed the plum dumplings (order 20 min in advance). The have a desert display at the front which is impossible to ignore. The menu is reasonably varied so it caters well to families.
