This hotel is authentic and also located about 12 min walk to the centrum square. Good breakfast, but not amazing, no fresh juice and limited fruits and eggs. we had a great stay clean, silent and very good beds. Quite small,but newly renowated toilets. pay in cash and you might get more valuta the the exchange rate the hotel gives. Some might say they seen more luxery 4 star hotels, and thats true. But all in all good.

Generally it's a nice hotel, rooms are small (and we had some luxury double bedroom), but cozy. Cannot say that their breakfast was particularly good.. Very average. No fresh juices, pancakes only before 9 a.m. and a bit strange life music, but it's a question of taste. Hotel location is very good, a nice and not too crowded area, close to Charles Bridge. So it was a nice experience with some small negative points. For example they took our small towels from yesterday and didn't replace them :D My résumé is that if you can get a room there for a cheap price - go for it.

I paid for a queen size bed and instead received 2 twin sizes, but other than the mic up, hotel is absolutely wonderful, And the location could not be better. The rooms are nice, parking is too notch, and the accessibility is amazing.

The rooms were big. Art decor. The bed linen could be improved.
The dining hall is lovely. The breakfast items are quite good.. some items may finish early, and may not be replenished.. but plenty of other items on the menu.
Staff is helpful.
Location - very near the Charles Bridge and the Prague castle.

The location of this hotel is excellent, just 5 minutes walk to the Charles Bridge but located in a quiet street. A quirky hotel with knights in suits of armour and weaponry in the dining room.Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean en-suite shower room.

Good points: Breakfast, room servicing, front desk, location.
Not so good points: Poor exchange rate, bathroom towels very thin, one of the booked rooms had elec outlets that did not work (reported but not fixed), 4 floors but one old lift capable of only 3 people load.
Summary: Could be described as "quaint", if you like quaint then it could be OK for you. Claims to be 4 star, the Czech star system must be different to what I am familiar with!!

It's a historic old building that they should make more mention of. The lobby is small but serviceable. The elevator is really small, enough room for me and my suitcase, barely. The hotel in general was clean but it seems they store the vacuums in the hallway. The beds were extremely hard, but I did sleep well on them. The bathroom was also tiny, the shower about the same size as the elevator. The included breakfast buffet is served in a large medieval looking hall with live piano music and was quite good.

The hotel is located on a quiet, small side road. It borders a park and is close to the river. If you don't mind walking it is close enough to the Charles bridge and old town to be almost convenient. About a 5 minute brisk walk to the bridge and 15-20 minutes to the old town square. I did the walk 3 times while I was there.

There are plenty of good restaurants in the area around the hotel.

Overall it's a great place to stay in Prague that's away from the crowds of the tourist areas so it's quiet. Yet it's close enough to be able to enjoy all Prague has to offer. If you want a modern hotel then look elsewhere, if you prefer a historic old hotel that is well maintained and clean then I do recommend this place.

The hotel is old. Private parking is available for a fee. Location of parking is behind the hotel and is not easy to locate due to the street design. Staff member had to escort me to the private parking. Rooms were clean. Bed mattress was not comfortable. All staff service and the delicious breakfast included were excellent. Location to Old Town was a very enjoyable short walk, maybe five to ten minutes.
