We stayed there for two nights. Room and bathroom generally clean. Breakfast average, but we don't expect more for this price. Wifi (free) range very good in the room. Safety box (free) in the front desk. Location of this hostel is perfect, next to the hostel's front door is metro station (Křižíkova - yellow line) which takes you in less than 5 minutes to the old town. Very good hostel for short typical touristic stay. At night/morning it might be a little loud because of drunken youth.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel! The location is great for exploiring the whole city, without staying in a too busy place. The people were really nice & helping, the rooms were very clean and it was quiet.

The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly, the location is brilliant (the underground station is right outside the hotel, it's only 2 minutes to the old town) and the breakfast is great.

Very close to local amenities. All staff very helpful and rooms were clean and tidy. Quiet area but lots of local restaurants and bars, 30 seconds from the underground station

Nice hotel! Really clean, awesome breakfast (loads of options!), friendly staff and good location!
Shower pressure was perfect! Really comfortable.
Downsides (that made me give 4 stars):
- Really warm room (I was there during the summer, so it was even hard to sleep), while outside was fresh. They have a fan, but definitely should have AC.
- Many TV channels were just flickering and impossible to actually be watched.
- The breakfast hours are really strict. If it is said that 10:30am it is finished, you have to actually leave the area at 10:30am, instead of not being able to get more food. It might be Czech's culture.

good hotel! What I found trouble some was the elevator that it was too small. Also I payed for 2 rooms that were supposed to be the same but one of the rooms had better services than the other

We stayed there because we went on the long Easter weekend and everything else was booked out. An OK place to stay, quite central i would say and situated right opposite to a metro station. Rooms are extremely basic and a bit old fashioned. A tiny elevator for that many floors was frustrating. They have a restaurant and we got free breakfast in our price.

This place is good value for money. When I travel on a budget the only "luxuries" I expect are a clean room with a comfortable bed, good shower pressure and hot water. Charles Central checked all those points. Other pros: the reception staff was very helpful and spoke English; the included breakfast had enough options to fit my tastes; Metro and tram stations literally in front of the building. Cons: a lot of noise (bring some earplugs); no free wifi in the room.
