Really great service on our recent trip to Cyprus. Georgia and Alex were very friendly and helpful. Great car, and they couldn't do more to assist, and gave us a free baby seat. Highly recommended.

I can only praise this company! We have used them for many years, as a child my parents rented cars from here and booked our trips and each time I return to Cyprus we use them for our car hire and transport needs. Only last October we used them for airport pick up and drop off and hired car whilst on holiday. The service was 5* from start to finish. Owners wife picked us up and was so friendly and couldn't do enough for us travelling with a small baby. Advised next time we come to just ask and she would source anything we may need. Vehicle was fantastic and transfer was swift! Car hire as always was great value for money and return transfer with his daughter was again super friendly and speedy. Will always continue to use them and would 100% reccomened. 😊

Alexis was the best person from whom I could have hired the car. Absolute no hassle. Car was in good condition. Pick up and drop from airport was smooth and on time plus he is an excellent person with whom you can chat on anything. Prices were cheap and reasonable. You will not regret it if you are looking for hiring car in Cyprus.

All cars in very good condition and clean.Nothing is too much trouble for Alexis and Georgia they will do everything for their customer satisfuction. We have used this car hire combany and never been dissapoinded. Prices very reasonable. Keep up the good work Georgia and Alexis.

Every year we are renting a car from Windmills Car Hire and we would like to recommend for you to do the same. Cars are in a very good condition. The prices are very good. If you need a baby seat or a booster you will get it. The owner and all his family are very "warm" people and you can trust them. So the best recommendations!!!

Hi we have just had a 5 day stay in Protaras but found most of it shut do decided last minute to hire a car. After being told by the hotel that all car hire places were closed I found Windmills Car Hire in Google. After conversation with Alex's daughter we agreed a price of €30 for 2 days which was incredibly cheap. He met my husband at the time agreed the next day and we returned the car the following evening after having driven round the island. So incredible service and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Windmills Car Hire to anyone. Thank you.

What a lovely man! Throughly recommend Windmill Car Hire- it was very reasonable (25 Euros for 24 hours) and Alex is so helpful and knowledgeable. My son and I drove to the Troodos mountains in the hire car as we wanted to visit places at our own pace. We had an amazing day out in a very reliable car that was perfect for the journey.

Fantastic family run car hire business. Very easy and straight forward to book and in a prime position on the strip in Protaras for collecting the car.
Friendly and helpful when picking up and dropping off the car.
Very modern and well equipped Yaris which was brand new and a pleasure to drive.
No hidden fees or silly insurance policies all included in the price with a fair fuel policy of returning to the same level you pick the car up with.

A nice car in reasonable price with full insurance without ANY hidden charge. Why you should go to big hire companies when you can help the local communitity with absolutely perfect service! We use Windmills every time we come to Cyprus -- we wouldn't go anywhere else! Alex and his family are so helpful, friendly and reliable, nothing is too much trouble. The cars are always spotless and we've never had a problem in all the years we've been using them. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended if you're looking for a cheap car! Got myself an Opel 7-seater for €300 (9 days). The car was old but it did it's job. Owners are very helpful and kind. Provided me with 2 child seats for free (two 2 y.o. kids). The best car rental around.

We have never been to Cyprus before
And decided to get a car as I had a meeting to attend. The meeting was cancelled and I sent a message which was quickly replied to.
They told me that if the car was hired back out they would give me a full refund. They gave me 10 euros back and I messaged me saying they have 25 euros tomorrow for me to collect great family run warm and friendlyresponse / report this review -

Highly recommend.
My wife and i wanted a cheap car for one day and we were pleasantly surprised with this company.
Incredible friendly and helpful family run business. No hidden extras. EVERYTHING included in the price. They even supplied maps, water, sweets, phone charger and holder. Great little Mazda 2. Had a few minor scratches etc but so what? Why pay more for a pristine motor that you only need for a day or so. It drove beautifully which is the main thing.response / report this review -

Sent a message via Facebook, quick response and the Jeep we wanted was delivered to our apartment the next morning. We got exactly what we wanted for a good price and they were very helpful. Would recommend.

Be warned
I'm a geeek Cypriot from London and I decided to use this hire company as they are very near to my apartment in protaras but little did I know this was going to be one of the biggest mistakes I've ever done. We called him from the uk to book the car and he told us we was getting a new Nissan note for €30 a day so we agreed but once we got to Cyprus we was given a Nissan Note that was not so new, it had 200k on the clock the air con wouldn't work the tires were flat and we had to het them pumpedourselves, the passenger door wouldn't close properly and the brakes sqeaked so much whenever we pressed on the breaks it was so embarrassing. But beside all these problems we decided to put up with it and didn't bet in touch with Mr Alex the man that owns this company because we was told from his wife that they had no other hire cars to offer us. We decided to extend our holiday by ten days so two days before we was handing back the car we went down to his office to ask him if we could hire the car for longer with a discounted price as it had so many problems or if he had a new car to offer us for the full price, when we got to his office it was closed so we called him and he sad he was going to be back in ten minutes, he was back in 40 minutes instead but the wasn't the issue, he attacked us in the street with abuse, putting his hands in my husbands face and acting like a lunatic all because we said to him in the most polite way come let us show you the cars problems. To top it off he took the car keys and said that he want giving it back for us to have for the two days we still had paid for and left us stranded in the street with my diabetic mother that got so upset she was shaking from head to toe. Never experienced anything like it in my life.

WARNING DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY HE IS A THEIF AND A LIAR. We boowed a rental car off this person in the UK and paid upfront and we was told it'd be a new car and that was it. We got to Cyprus the car was delivered to us by his wife and after little inspect we saw 200k on the clock, air con didn't work, front passenger door didn't shut properly and light kept showing for the door in car and in clock, also steering wasn't properly aligned. So we took it to him and tried to explain and all we got was abuse in the middle of the street this was now, he was shouting and causing a scene and all we did was try to explain what was wrong. Whilst this was happening his daughter decided to come out and ask what was going on, we told her and she was understanding at first. We told her wed like a refund and she was saying ok at first, then after she called her mummy she said no we can't have a refund. Whilst we was talking to her the owner took our car we paid for and drove it to his car hold. Afterwards he returned saying were not getting our refund and his daughter started to get abusive saying "if you don't have money don't come on holiday and stay at home, we gave you a good deal and if you have no money stay at home" she also called us peasants. We had no option to call the police and they had to come and deal with it. The police gave him a warning and said to him if he does this again they'd arrest him. So please do not go to this man, he is your best friend until he gets your money, I am Greek and I have an apartment in the area I have asked other Greeks about him and they say they've heard of him and he's not good news and I shouldn't of gone to him. He is a theif and a liar please be warned.

Friendly service and really good offers from the manager. Also personal service for each customers and 24 hours personal service. Nice family local business. Real good deals and package offers with pick ups from the airport and to the airport
