Best meal I've had in Cyprus (and I've had a few as I live here at present!) Civilised environment, attentive service, excellent food - superbly cooked, good selection of wine - very reasonably priced. Certainly the place to take people to impress. Any negative points? Only that the menu font is a bit difficult to read but, hey, if I want to read I'd go to the library!

Found lot of seefood options, both from fresh and freezed products. Soup, fish was delicious. You need to plan more time for dinner. It can take around 3 hours. Reservation is prefered option. Expensive, if compared to other options in city

Cyprus' best fish taverna. Although, doesnt hold a candle to Greek ones. Their salmon tartare is good, sea bass, hummus, tahini, taramosalata, etc. But this is the worst service I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. Hence the 3 stars. We arrived at 7:30, first table for dinner, and left 3 hr later. We did not order a lot! Thats how much time they left between each and every single dish. They would bring out our sides one at a time and before the main course, the fish. Was ridiculous. It took 30 min to bring the bill after we asked. Please hire more staff in the kitchen to help meet the demand!

Tried the fish mezze and found it very uneven (between bad and very good, for our taste anyway). It's a long menu, maybe there are better options

This used to be my favorite fish taverna in Nicosia. However, since they expanded and opened the one in Limassol I believe their quality standards have decreased. They may have changed a supplier, I'm not sure. I went 2 times more just to make sure and the dips, vegetables and fish were not as fresh as they used to be.

Great location, with its own spacious parking. Pyxida always delivers fresh well cooked fish. The squid (with the ink) is just outstanding, and so it the fish cooked in salt (that you have to pre-order). Its the best fish tavern in Nicosia and maybe Cyprus.
