Not awful by any stretch. Would be nice if some of the enclosures were bigger but it was fine. The staff were friendly and the parrot show is Def worth it.
Lots of wild birds and lizards running about which was cute too.

An excellent place to spend the day. The animals looked happy, healthy and well cared for. The variety of animals was very nice and the design of the zoo was pretty well thought out. The back story of this zoo was very interesting and it was very cool that his house was still standing. A must if you have the time in Paphos.

Largest zoo in Cyprus. Been there 2 times now. Definitely good place to go with kids. Don't forget sun cream! Bird shown was amazing.

Pafos zoo is awesome! Everywhere you look something is moving Rabbits, lizards, ducks, peacocks, birds There is going to be something for everyone. The bird show was great and my daughter got to bottle feed a tiger cub. Feeding the giraffes was fun. These little extras cost, but it's worth it for the amazing memories. Beware! Animal lovers will not be happy. The enclosures are very small and I think the tiger and lions probably shouldn't be next to each other. I loved it, though.

A great experience and great day out. This zoo is big and has a lot on show. The bird show is well worth a visit as well so definitely go for that. In the end they bring out a tiger cub you can hold and take fantastic photos with. From what I could see animals are well kept and fed. Some animals like the elephant where single though. Which I do not agree with. At least get pairs so they have a partner and do not get lonely. Staff very friendly, most you find where British so no communication barriers if you speak English. Definitely worth a visit.

Talking white/red parrot near restuarant parrot, say pretty boy or turn and he interacts. Parrot show is really gold but the by far best part is petting a baby tiger, wait until the end and you get to play with him for 15 mimutes. Brilliant site, family friendly. Great day out!!!

Definitely must visit and see place. Zoo is growing bigger each year and some new habitants added frequently. Also Zoo has not so bad cafe inside and view toward the Bay Area. Love to spend time there and then getting a food, lamb, if available, strongly recommended at the cafe inside.

Perfect place to spend up to half a day with the family. Scenic place, animals seemed well looked after. We went for lunch in the local restaurant and I didn’t expect much it not being their main source of income, but I honestly had probably the best meal throughout my stay in Cyprus. Would definitely return the next time I’m here.

A beautiful green park, after the visit there were only positive impressions, visited several times and was never disappointed. At certain times several times a day, performances (shows) of various parrots and owls are held.
You can safely come for the whole day, or combine with beach rest / bathing on the coast.

It's a good zoo, the cages maybe a little small, but they are clean & the animals don't seem to be in any distress, I did see one of the birds in the car park, I took a photo of it & showed it to one of the people that worked there 'oh they have wings, sometimes they do fly off, but most come back' was the reply. It's more a conservation zoo, animals that are rescued, they say all the money goes back into the animals & it's a good day out, go in the mornings though, that's when the animals aren't hiding from the sun!! Also, the free bus that takes you there is just outside the entrance to the car park where Coral Bay is, don't make the same mistake we did & wait for it in the car park

An interesting little zoo. Lots to see and do, but it's a hot one today and most of the animals are staying cool in dark corners. I do feel though (in relation to other modern zoos I have seen) that the cages are far too small 😕..

We had an amazing time there. All the animals that day were moving in their enclosures. The lion was roaring, the tigers played in water and walked very close to us, we fed the girafes and patted them, the giant tortoise came to us to say hi. We took some great pictures and had a wicked time there. Thank you so much!

You will often find animals outside their cages running around. Don't know if that's intentional but I found it entertaining. The only downside I found to the zoo is that the majority of the animals there were birds. They had an entertaining parrot show, though. Also, they have Wi-Fi.

Very nice place, especially if you are a birds fan. Birds show recommended very much ( 1 in the morning, 14:30 and 17:00), it is free with ticket, very cool and nice for children and parents too.

Great clean zoo. Good size enclosures for the animals, plenty of shelter & water for them. You can feed the giraffes for 10 euros.

I am not a zoo expert but this is the best I have seen. Obviously happy animals brilliantly looked after by enthusiastic staff, Elephants, giraffes, lions, monkeys but also a superb bird collection including trained hawks. If in Cyprus this is a MUST SEE!!
