Live music and dances can be a pro but if you are there for a few hours it van be a bit too much. Food is ok but nothing special. Serve is ok. Prices are cheap but that is represented by the quality of the food.
Very friendly staff and the atmosphere was fantastic with Cypriot music and dance.
Amazing place! Must come if you are in paphos. We ordered the village meze and it was amazing and sooooo much. We really enjoyed the traditional dances and the entertainment. We joined as well for some dancing. Amazing night and a lovely, family run place!
Came here on my birthday and it was really something! Experience to remember ❤👌 food was so nice too.
This is a great place for local foods. Menu has lots of choices. Service is friendly and quick. Food is very well presented cooked and and good quality. Prices are very reasonable. This restaurant is very atmospheric, with live acts on several times a week. A great Taverna. Recommended
Although it feels like a very touristic tavern, you can enjoy great folklore dancing, tasty food and welcoming service.
Value for money large portions good food
AMAZING place!! The meat Meze for 2 people is so delishious, €52 with unlimited wine!! The service is second to none, so friendly and welcoming, the live Greek music, Greek dancing & glass balancing is just so brilliant to watch! The atmosphere is so relaxed and fun, totally love this place!!! Highly recommended!!!
Nice dancing show.
Food is mediocre. Had the burger and the Mousaka.
Fun Evening, with dancing, singing, very good food, Kind team, and Dina is the best Host Looking forward to come and dance with you again!! Love you!!!
Great atmosphere & entertainment.
Very friendly.
Great food. Generous portions.
I'll have to split this review into two parts: atmosphere and food.
Food: We tried Cyprian mixed grill, swordfish, and T-bone steak. All the dishes had a tomato / cucumber salat which seemed to have been dried at the bench since the morning. Not very good. All the dishes had frozen or canned vegetables served with the food, not very good. The fries serves with the food was really good.
The Cyprian dish was decent+, some of the meat was juicy and the spices was good. A few pieces where dry and there was to little tzatziki served with it.
The swordfish was dry and boring. Only the dried tomato / cucumber salat and fries served with it. Not recommended.
The T-bone steak was well done, even though it was supposed to be medium rare. The meat was tasty, but again: only the dried salad served with it and fries. A little boring.
All in all the food wasn't something to be happy about. The price at this place is a little higher than we're used to here in Cyprus, and the food not worth it.
Atmosphere: This restaurant is something special, for sure. They had live music which was good, even though they could have kept the music at 80-100 bpm (beats per minute) as they mixed the songs from slow to super fast. At 2030-2100 live dancers joined the stage and had a tradition performance. Not my kind of stuff, but you know what? The kids at the resturant loved it! They even have a little playground for kids.
We where there to eat, and that's why I can only give three stars. If you have a bunch of young kids, this might be the place for you even though the food is just average (and a little pricy).
Very lively restaurant. Great entertainment to compliment the good food.
Don't Bother - Over-priced, under-cooked tourist food.
€4 Cover charge [per person] even if you only want a drink !!!!!
All this - and I actually live here !!
God Help Tourists in this 'Capital of Culture'
We weren't so happy with the service, the food was nice yet microwaved, we've been to better restaurants in the city.
Brilliant service. Well priced. Excellent.
Simply amazing food, all prepared fresh and sourced locally.
There's no menu, you sit until you're full and they keep bringing you what is made fresh in the kitchen.
I loved it!
Classic Cyprian dishes since 1972. Nice small play area for kids too.
Great welcome. Great food and atmosphere. Great live music. My party of 17 had no complaints!
