Reviews sometime exaggerate if a resort requires a car; in my opinion. However, in the case of Club Aphrodite a car is a necessity, trust me. You could probably get away with it for a week but with the price of transfers you could quite easily hire a car. The second transport issue is; I get put off driving abroad, well in Cyprus they drive on the same side of the road, the towns and city's apart, the roads are quiet, great for the amateur abroad, plus there is not a lot in Erimi itself. Erimi kitchen is in my opinion the best. The next village Episkopi is far better with numerous restaurants.
Ok the resort itself; nice but dated decor in the apartment. The kitchen had everything you need, the bedroom we had was overlooking the road, therefore any vehicle passing could be heard, including the Gardiner, the two early buses etc. The beds were firm but there were four pillows to choose from. Pool area was ok as we're the lounges. Prices were average and the food was ok. The bowling club had better prices for drinks and food and we're very welcoming. The buses that are timetabled to appear never did, the 9.20 is a figment of someone's imagination. Overall its ok for a peaceful week but any longer ; to get around to see the site's and restaurants , trust me, get a car.

We have just spent 10 amazing days at the Club Aphrodite, it has been the most relaxing holiday for years. The staff were so helpful the apartment clean and comfortable. It was a quite location fairly central for travel to the whole of the Island. I would recommend it to anyone. thank to all the staff

Great place to stay, we have coming here for years and the apartments are very clean. However the food in the restaurant has gone downhill and is very hit and miss. We had the same dishes on different occasions and to be fair, at it’s best, it’s only mediocre. For some reason the mentality is quantity over quality, which maybe ok for the alcoholic looking ex pats, they have buffet evenings, if that’s your thing, but the lack of choice is very disappointing. If you have a car then there are some great restaurants nearby and plenty of takeaways.

Staying here for 2 weeks. On day 5 and it is amazing. Clean, spacious apartment with everything you could ever need. Above all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Update Aug 2016

Room was clean, and the staff are nice. Has all the things I'd expect in an apartment complex. Air conditioning worked well, and the rooms were spacious.

Pleased to see wifi in all rooms, albeit a bit slow! Also pleased to see locals having to pay for the pool, although some people still slip through. Maybe have wrist bands for those who can use the pool; everyone without it has to pay for one.

A few gripes:
- the shower took forever to heat up, and had hardly any power
- restaurant's food was ok, but poor variety
- no option for a do not disturb. Sometimes I want to sleep past 10am!
