We have been coming here for years. We love the small 30 or so unit resort and extremely friendly staff. However, we dislike the decor. Nothing has changed in 12 years and who knows how long before that. The furniture and the hotel looks very outdated although to be fair it doesn't look not maintained.
Very few rooms have balconies with privacy without looking directly at the pool. For someone with kids this could be a good thing to keep an eye on them. However, if you don't want people to be constantly looking at you on your balcony the number of rooms that offer that are very very limited.
This resort is not for the fun seeking either. It is quiet and if you are bothered by loud music it is only coming from the party places across the inlet.response / report this review -

We had a great stay in the hotel. The suite is very nice. It was taken care of everyday. Our room faced the Caribbean. The sunset is very beautiful.
I would like to mention the great staff, especially manager Estella, who did her utmost to feel the guests comfortable and enjoy the stay.
I would also like to thank Claudia, who is wonderful and always a pleasure to deal with.
The visit to the aquarium was very interesting and amazingly beautiful, an unforgettable experience.
Overall, our experience was excellent and very much recommended to tourists.response / report this review -

We had a good time. Dolphin show and sealion show were both fun. Underwater viewing of sharks etc. Also informative. Lots of aquariums with different fish and some explanations.

The dolphin and sea lion shows were great. We paid extra to get in the water with the dolphins getting our pictures taken getting a kiss on the cheek and able to touch them. It was a lot of fun. The dolphins each have their own fish diet and cooler with their name on it. They are very well treated since our resort balcony looks directly at them.

Great resort, right on the beach, many restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Stayed in a comfortable clean room where you could see all of the dolphin shows. They even have a shuttle to take you to the grocery store and downtown. The staff are very friendly, they go out of their way to make you comfortable. Jonathan the concierge is an amazing guy, he organized a cook out pool side which was phenomenal. I would definitely go back.
