  Great hotel with friendly and helpfull staff. Nice location just by the water. Many resturants nearby but the hotel resturant is also really good for both breakfast and din er.

  My favorite location for breakfast and dinner in Curacao. Sitting right by the sea in a super cozy atmosphere enjoying good food and cocktails. You can eat way worse for more money on the island.

  Amazing Steak Tartare followed by awesome Steak. Jeroen paired great wines with each dish. The ocean rumbles in the background, this is just an amazing experience!!

  We had a reservation for dinner and were surprised by the nice location with direct view of the ocean. After choosing the wine the waiter told us the bottle was missing a bit because a different guest had returned it after trying. It would have been great if they asked us whether it'd be okay for us to take the bottle instead of being told that we get it and can't really do anything about it. Apart from that we had good food and the Gorgonfroza dessert in particular seems like a very original creation. Overall a nice experience with a few little hickups.

  Showed up without reservations and they were kind enough to make room, and let us stay another day. Very nice staff and kept checking on us to make sure our needs were met. The breakfast was heavenly at their terrace. Bought some Venezuelan fruit from Willemstad's floating market 15 mins from the hotel. The hotel staff served us their Breakfast For Two with some honey and a knife to indulge in that fruit. Outside food was totally allowed for hotel guests! Absolutely loved it!   BijBlauw came warmly recommended. We started with lunch. Food was ok but service was terrible. Understaffed. Extremely long wait, neighbors came and went, we were still waiting, meaningless excuse. Dinner the next day lived up to expectations. Great food. Good service. Day after that: breakfast. Very disappointing. Serious hygiene issues. Understaffed. Again a very long wait. Quite terrible. Pity because the place looks nice, and owners seem to have the best intentions. We will not return and we will not recommend BijBlauw.
