The typical spanish style parqueo very pleasant huge surrounded by nice buildings slowly (like everything else in Cuba) being renovated. The heart of the city close to main bars and restaurantes. A must stop site.

A great place to spend a few hours in the shade of one of the large old trees admiring the architecture, if only the Jineteros could be kept out of the square it would be perfect. Most of them will take no for an answer, although a few are more determined. I found after enough no's that just ignoring them like they weren't even there seemed to work.
