Friendly staff. Resort could use to be updated but is still beautiful

My family and I have been going to this resort for years when it was still in Cuban hands when it was Club Amigo Caracol it wasn't the best resort on the strip but we loved the staff the beach and of course the views but since it changed owners and now the hotel is in Italian hands and it's new name is Club Bravo Caracol the place has changed still some of the old staff around the the atmosphere of the old hotel is gone the old Cuban charm and decor has been replaced with modern furniture, the evening shows mostly in Italian servers who do not speak English or French. Unfortunately this past January 2018 trip will be our last after at least 30 stays there too bad it will be sadly missed

Nice beach. Great service, friendly staff and animation. The food was good (buffet style) with a pasta bar with 3 choices of sauces that varied daily and a grill which varied for every meal.
If you like to dance, the music is omnipresent and you can even take pool side lessons.
The house band is very good and plays at tables during dinner and has evening sets on stage.
The catamaran excursion to Playa Bonita was a highlight. Amazing beach and boat ride to a snorkeling area near corals.
The room was very comfortable and the A/C was quiet. Large bathroom with a modern shower.
One minor negative point is that some of the bars do not serve Pina coladas at certain times, not sure why.
Very good overall experience for the price point. Would consider returning if going back to Cuba.response / report this review -

Great hotel with very friendly staff, trying to make tour visit comfortable and relaxing. I found it as one of the best inexpensive kite boarding destinations in Caribbean. Shallow water (about 5-10 feet deep) goes up to the reef, located about a mile away, makes it a great spot to learn kite boarding and enjoy smooth and endless ride. Windy season starts around end of October until mid of April.

Struttura bella e confortevolespiaggia carina con sabbia finissima e pulita ma alghe tante alghe che crescono sul fondo.personale del villaggio x la maggior parte nulla facente che si attiva con manciaattenti agli effetti personali nn si sa perché sparisconoma è la tua parola contro la lorone avrei ancora da dire ma mi fermo!!!!
